Paul1440
Used to find Farge mildly amusing and someone who is vwilling to challenge the established party views. However the likes of him,Gove and johnson have really made me think about how we view people from all over the world. The event of last week crystalised it and I don't want to be part of the fear and hate stuff that Farage is promoting. I will not be radicalised. We have a democracy that has a bloody good record on the whole in having a balanced veiw on whats the best and most humain stance on forign affairs. I'm no left wing socialist but I find myself agreeing with people who i wouldn't normally give time for. Billy Bragg foe example. Some one shared his facebook page.. worth a read.like me you might not agree with it all but it made me think. Dekers
I'm all for immigration, I'm all for saving the world..... BUT, lets save the UK FIRST, and then move on to the rest, just what is wrong with that? Nigel is right and prepared to say it, his image may not be very PC, but why are all the world problems meant to be ours?

100milesaway
This referendum has nothing to do with politics but it does have alot to do with common sense. We can't help other people if we are swamped ourselves,We need to be looking at helping people in their own countries.Lets get our country back first..... from Auntie. That is all the remain camp have, to shout raciat or hater... Oh dear Egg that is cracked, what is wrong with someone illustrating the point that all the asylum seekers that hit our shores from France have arrived here illegally under the Dublin Regulation? You see what that means is that when an asylum seeker hits the nice safe shores of Europe, they seek asylum in the first country they get to. Otherwise they are then illegal immigrants. Quite simple. Now personally if I was feeling a conflict and had got to a safe country, particularly one on a different continent, I would stop running, apply for asylum and work and wait for the trouble to blow over or settle down and work and contribute much like my grandfather did. Nothing racist about that! Edited June 20, 2016 by secretagentmole

Gordon R
I look at the poster and wonder why anyone would say Nigel Farage has been exposed. Exposed as what? Someone who sees the reality of what is going on. Cameron, Corbyn and co would like to ignore immigration. They prattle on about the benefits of staying in Europe, but ignore what the UK will become in the next generation. At present, very little of this affects me directly, but it concerns me what the effect will be on my children and grandchildren. As for this - The event of last week crystalised it and I don't want to be part of the fear and hate stuff that Farage is promoting. Absolute garbage. I really don't think you actually understand what the referendum is about. This. People keep saying it's about immigration and how much we pay and don't get out, but not me. If someone can tell me how the 5 European Commissioners were appointed, what they names are and (most importantly) how I as of democratic right can cast a vote to remove them, then I might consider staying in. This is about the next 100 years not the next 10. . Edited June 20, 2016 by Mungler

Nothing racist about that! Easy to say from a distance.. What if your town was being bombed to bits and your wife and kids are starving. The people in the poster weren't coming here.. The refererendum is about much more than immigration.. although rightly or wrongly, It is the stance being taken by the leave campaign to culture fear that is a concern. Yes immigration is a concern on the impact on the country. It's not racist to think to think that. Just another thought to widen this.. When was the golden period that we want to return to? I'm not as old as some.. my view is that The Victorian age was well depicted by Dickins.. Very few lived as a lord in Downton abby..The mills sounded a hoot to work in if servive wasn't you thing. first world was not much fun.. ended with a Victory of allied nationsl. 1920s 30s Great drepressmon.. that was fun.. second world war.. more fun. Comes to a close in Europe with VE day. think the forces were allied. 50s and 60s rebuild afterthe war..Manufactured stuff in factories by hitting things things with hammers.. Mid 60s get stoned and Manufacturing went to Japan, Hong kong and china. (Music was good.. but even by then those who made the misic wre taxes at 98% so buggerd off to the USA) 1970s No fuel..power cuts. Strikes.. oh.. the fun we had.
