Cheers paul.

Just heard on C4 news there that the notification has to come from the home government.

I think in the confusiion on Fri some EU councilors/workers were trying it on a bit and tryig to push it on quickier by claiming there was no defination of the legal trigger

Yes we have to actually invoke Article 50. It would from the Prime Minster to the EU President along the lines of 'Dear President, We are invoking Article 50. See you later.' At that point the clock starts ticking. I would have thought it would be in our interests not to rush into things, but rather do informal negotiations first. Otherwise it is a fixed timeframe and that may not be helpful. In theory we could do all the negotiating up front, invoke Article 50 and leave the next day. The two years is maximum not minimum.

Dear president,

The UK will invoke article 50 when you ******** stop trying to tell us what to do and when to do it! ie. when we are good and ready!

Love,

Dave.

PS. the small "p" should really **** him off!

Because when the numbty on the radio said people over 40 shouldn't be allowed to vote they were just some examples of the type of person he felt weren't worthy of having an opinion.

I have a feeling said N******* was Billy Bragg "we were sold out by the greyheads" - That well known red - you can think what you like as long as it is what I tell you to think.

A lot of the signatures not even from British citizens. There is no chance of a 2nd vote after the divisions it caused and the cost. Remain need to accept they lost by over a million votes. If they had won they would be praising the democratic system. Wheels are already in motion for use exiting now anyway.

The people have decided and we must now pull together and get building Britain future.

Typical load of European compliance ********.

It takes a quick phone call and that should be it. What the **** else is there to say. Presumably they have TV in Brussels?

Get it done quick so we can get on with the job in hand.

Caught the last of an interveiw on the BBC this morning,,,with a senior German political / newspaper hack......and i now feel my vote was vindicated.....

  • the reason i voted was not the immigration problem
  • my reason was the increasing EU intergration of Britain into the super state and my identity been taken away from me
  • the hack said that Germany are at last free and releived that UK is going
  • legisaltion can now be put in place for ever closer union with the other member states..(quote)
  • we had been a thorn in the EU's side stopping ever closer union and intergration

things are going to be difficult for a while but i know we will win thro'...............

i feel we have just escaped by the skin of our teeth....and i thank god or whoever that we have done so
