chrisjpainter
I'm watching a documentary on one of my top three places I'd most like to visit in the world, which is the Congo. the other two are the Karakorum of the Afghanistan and Pakistan and The Northwest Passage through Canada. Given that two of the three are essentially warzones, I'm thinking it's gonna take a while to tick 'em off, but it got me thinking. So why those three? Congo: for the jungle and the amazing levels of biodiversity, with a huge tapestry of historical myth and legend about it Karakorum: for the climbing. I love a good mountain environment and I'd take the Karakorum of the Himalaya any day Canada's Northwest Passage: Again, I love the history and folklore that's sprung up. I'd love to do the whole route, see if I can find the outstretched hand of Franklin, then keep going on Rae's route that actually does join the West and East of Canada Anyone else got a top three? If people have got any advice on getting to them, that'd be cool too

Vince Green
I have been to and worked in Sierra Leone. If god wanted to give the world an enema Sierra Leone is where he would stick the tube. I would imagine the Congo is much the same. Not a fan of Africa For me it would be one of the old Inca cities in South America Edited September 8, 2016 by Vince Green

Glenlivet
Done quite a few of mine; Australia, New Zealand and most of Europe. Parts of South America, Alaska, Russia and various tropical islands still on the list but traveling freehand and unfettered in many places is 'challenging' these days.
