Dangerous Brian
Franchi. I think I was told they are made by Benelli who are owned by Beretta. Anyway, for the money it seems to be a pretty good gun. Edited August 21, 2017 by Dangerous Brian

Scully
I have seen several Miroku, Winchester and Brownings for around the 800 quid mark, but out of those listed it would have to be the Franchi.
oldypigeonpopper
hello, with £800 if you mean an O/U 20 B i would look for a winnie 101 XTR light weight or franchi harrier and most would give you change, but bearing in mind if wanting a lighter shotgun the harrier is over 7llb, i would also consider a lincoln as better made than a lot of lower end shotguns, as scully said you have some good choices for that money, Edited August 22, 2017 by oldypigeonpopper
webber
Come and have a look at the Brixia 20 bores at Norgas Gun & Cartridge Co. You can try one at Rixton & Astley Shooting Club by arrangement. webber
Westward
The new Franchi O/U bears a remarkable resemblance to a Betinsoli And that's because Bettinsoli manufacture Franchi O/Us. Franchi is a brand name only, they don't make anything. Similar story with Webley and Lincoln. Everything is outsourced, some to Turkish and some to Italian makers. Not much to choose between any of them for general field shooting and a few clays, but be aware they're budget guns built to a price. Scully
There is a Miroku on this very forum for £600; they dont come much better than that. It will last longer, give better service and still have a better resale value than any of the guns you mentioned in your OP.
