billytheghillie
Apart from Viakal ( which I tried and didn't rate it ) what is a good cleaner for shower screen with bad limescale build up. Cheers.

Winston72
if you had applied elbow grease in the first place limescale wouldnt have built up
Yellow Bear
Or to save the even rarer Scottish elbow grease one of these - Fine Dragon Household Handheld Electric Power Scrubber IPX7 from Amazon Used to be made By B&D called iirc scumbuster
oowee
If it's limescale the viakal will get it off. We have hard water here and this gets it off easily. If it does not work it sounds like soap.
B725
Williams waterless car polish is brilliant on shower screen's and the tiles.
Eyefor
HG Mould Spray. Brilliant stuff. Available on fleabay and elsewhere BUT whilst the product is great, the supplied sprayer is garbage so you might need to decant to a new sprayer (99p, Wilco's) after a couple of uses
bruno22rf
We use shower shine - after every shower just a couple of puffs (!) along the top of the screen and the screen just needs the odd wipe with a glass cleaner every couple of weeks. Konnie
Try neat washing up liquid once a week smear over then leave for a couple of minutes then wash off with one of those body scrubbers, most of it will be soap build up unless it's left for ages, between cleans
strimmer_13
I use the misses shower puff covered in shampoo every other wash. And it's that bad here the taps and plug holes turn white after a week. Don't get me started about the aquarium glass.... Drives me nuts
Vince Green
Cillit Bang, the one for lime and grime. its what our cleaning company uses. If there is a heavy build up you have to let it soak
ph5172
Cillit Bang sprayed on then left a bit works wonders. If its glass those magic sponges also work wonders!!
harrycatcat1
https://www.housebeautiful.com/uk/lifestyle/cleaning/news/a97/9-surprising-uses-for-white-vinegar/ I've always used white vinegar 99p in a spray from Wilcos.

billytheghillie
Just a update, was in Lidls today and bought a bottle of W5 degreaser, and a bottle of limescale remover, 79p each, and guess what? They worked! Result.
moose man
If you run a window cleaning squeeze over it after a shower it stays spotless ..
