Ferret664
Just wondering with only a week till Grafham and other reseviors open where everyone will be fishing this opening week and season in general? For me Grafham is my main water with occasional trips to Rutland and thinking might give pitsford a try this year . Ferret
Dave at kelton
Never felt like fly fishing until I could lose the coat and roll up the sleeves. Used to fish Pitsford from the boat when living in Oxon and always enjoyed it but preferred Draycote.

Robertt
Would it be feasable to learn casting with the other arm? I did it several years ago. It didn't take long and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
KFC
Hi Ferret, looking forward to the new season and hope we can share a boat again soon. I'm trying a new syndicate on a 5 acre farm reservoir this season. Will be interesting to see how it goes and hoping we don't have another summer of drought but it's not looking too good so far. Piggin typical though, just checked the weather forecast. From Saturday 2nd windy and showers😡
243deer
Pitsford on the 9th March - hoping for wind and rain
Ferret664
Yes can't wait for season but think my start will be delayed by the wind was hoping to fish Grafham next week but doesn't look to promising. KFC we will share a boat hopefully a couple of times this season and have as much sucess and we did last time. Good luck with your new syndicate Hoping to get to pistfords a few times this season as well
Fatcatsplat
My father in law is a mental keen fly fisherman with a season ticket for Rutland and Grafham - He's been saying that Pitsford is the only place delivering the goods
Dan73
Anyone fish Ravensthorpe? Looking to get an early day there in April - from the Bank rather than Boat - if anyone can talk to the banks to try, patterns, etc, it would be helpful Thanks

Whitebridges
I really like Eyebrook. http://www.flyfisheyebrook.co.uk/ Trouble is early season it's possible to catch your limit very quickly.

If you contact them I’m sure that they will point you in the right direction. We have a club based at thrybergh reservoir in Rotherham where someone will gladly show you the ‘ropes’ free of charge. The club meet every Thursday evening between 7 and 9 Tim
