Ferret664
I am happy to say round our way our rabbit numbers have exploded again . Last year we barely saw a rabbit because of rhd2 but they seem to have made a dramatic recovery this spring . How are others rabbit numbers doing ? Blackpowder
Three years ago I was asked by a farmer to do something about the rabbits in a disused railway cutting on his land. I reckon most rabbits I have seen since pre-myxy days, later that year myxy appeared again and not seen a rabbit there since. I'm suffolk/essex to and have definitely noticed the numbers picking up, so much so we got a rabbit curry in last night. Hares thin on the ground round here. 243deer
Just been contacted asking me to 'do the rabbits' again - this farm is on the Suffolk/Norfolk border - last time I culled was in 2016 so very similar experiences to everyone else I think. On my way to work this morning I saw a weasel chasing some young rabbits, something I have not seen for quite a while.

The Wickerman
I would say here in Staffordshire the rabbit numbers are up on the last couple of years, though I have not seen a hare for many, many months & we used to be over run with them. FOXHUNTER1
Had a look last night for some bunnies on a patch which is normally ok but the weather was rubbish, not a breath and misty so didn't see that many but shot 13...
JRDS
None round here and very few on my shoot up at Settle. Used to have loads behind my house, now zilch.
Pigeon Shredder.
Went to one of my permission’s on Friday afternoon and on the field next to the permission l counted 70+ at 3 o/clock in the blazing sun. That evening same field had well over 150 on it. The land owner when l asked for permission to shoot stated that he already has someone who does so regularly, oh really 🤥 🤔
