Walker570
Hah Ha !! didn't notice that. Yes, seems a long way but it is a lovely estate to just sit and watch the world go by.... a couple of munties strolled past almost close enough to stroke followed my a really nice fallow buck and hoards of song birds ...... a lot more to a pleasant day in the countryside than just killing things. WalkedUp
17 makes a mess of them, pulverised from the inside. I wasted 30 mins before work this morning watching two squirrels play kiss-chase in the boundary of my permission, totally ignoring the peanuts on offer. No safe shot available I eventually had to leave.
Walker570
Just one more this morning BUT I have put a couple of small buckets of kibbled maize laced with aniseed in another small copse and the trail cam this morning shows at least three on it so a few to come from there. Just need to put up a hide and clear a shooting lane. Trouble is the ground is so wet will have to hand carry it all in.
