hodge911
WHEN will this government stop lying about the bloody covid19 tests ? . I'm at the point now where I won't watch any news about them .. then this morning on bbc the government minister blatantly lied about tests and had to be corrected by Louise Minchin .. YES they have an impossible task ahead BUT STOP LYING TO THE PUBLIC !!!
oowee
Lying and hypocrisy go hand in hand with this Government. With the current internal market proposition breaking international law we are moving ever closer to being a Tory run rogue state. Unfortunately the public at large quickly buy into the patter of the snake oil sales team.

walshie
We should just test less people, then we'd have less positive results. Saying the cases have increased based on the results from greatly increased testing is ridiculous.
Scully
Of course they’re lying; they’re politicians for crying out loud! What are you expecting, the truth? Anyone who thinks it’s just this government or Tories who tell lies or are hypocrites is seriously naive. It’s politics, it’s a dirty dirty game. Come to Wales and see the state that we are in under a long term socialist parliament (yep - it's a parliament now) - Education, Health, Transport, Infrastructure - that should be a warning for all people. Everyone criticised Trump early on for saying the USA was successful in having the highest number of cases, because they had the highest rate of testing. Ozz
Just remember folks this is the only thing u can catch but show no symptoms at all get a negertive test result and still be contagious 🤔 But remember the official advise masks don't don't work but there now compulsory in all shops stay home but go out and eat out inside a restaurant for 50%off. And now u can't go visiting ur pal and can't meet more than 6 people but u can go to the pub with 6 people from other houce holds and sit inside a room fill of strangers?? Makes total sence or does it

Dianne Abbott could sort the testing.... we’d have twenteen squillion available per day and they would only cost 3p each so we would only need to spend £2.32 on them. WalkedUp
I think you maths is wrong, twenteen squillion vaccines @ 3p each is £2.42 not £2.32. Maybe your blood sugar is low? 🤔

Ahh I see I forgot the Liarbore party could sort stuff for the price of a Weatherspoons pint

Two sides of the same coin is how I look at it. They all lie until they get into power - then it is snouts in the trough while trying to mark "their mark" in history

Sadly no other than a coalition. We knew BJ was a complete ....... so there was no way he would get my vote. Its the same in the US where sound bite politics is used to lure in the gullible unable to see through the rhetoric. The sooner we get to Prop Rep and a more balanced voting system the better but no sign of that anytime soon. A smart Govt would have formed a cross party group to champion solving the corona crisis share the risk in reaching an ever moving goal post. Cosmicblue
Must be so disappointing for BJ - hoping for a term as PM doing all the fluffy stuff that politicians do without making a real difference whilst lining up some post-politics adviser role/gravy train post. Instead he gets a global crisis and a team that are guaranteed to fall short of the mark - history will not be kind I feel.
