I'm not sure If I'm supposed to feel sorry for this unfortunate young lady, or if it's simply tough luck.

The supposedly British company that makes the dollls clearly decided to take production out of the country and off to China ... part of the cost od doing business in a foreign country maybe...

Hello, that is why toy shops order months in advance for the Christmas period, that was before this covid epidemic, this will effect many businesses in UK

Of course. Does make you think though, they shipped all production to China to cut costs, now they can't get the stock.

If they had kept the production in the UK they wouldn't have this issue maybe ... or maybe the toys would be so expensive the business wouldn't even exist.

Or the U.K. factory would have been closed down due to covid. Or the workforce would have been on strike or .....

Hello, your right Lloyd, when you think of the shipping and duty to I am sure they are having second thought or should be, I think many businesses will or go bust as they cannot get the goods from China , same for importers of Chinese made air rifles, cheers

Well it may actually be time to panic but.  The first time all freight has been stopped going through the tunnel since this kicked off...... the queues have been immense for weeks due to brexit and now a total closure will see what stocks we have in the UK

As I read it only in bound to France not outbound - now there is a surprise (not)

So the french close the Dover ports and trains for 48hours to stop the new variation of the virus reaching them, yet it is prolific in Kent I just wonder what the chances are that it arrived in the U.K. from France in the first place.

And what difference will 48hours make when we have been living with Covid for nearly a year. Is this an attempt to force the Brexit deal through?

Cases have been growing really rapidly in Italy, France and Germany recently so yes not surprised that it mutated there first. But we announce it to everybody and we are now the pariahs.

So their using this mutation as a way to break the promise of Christmas has well and truly backfired on the whole country. I say this as I have seen (but may not be true I wish to clarify) that this new mutation was actually detected months ago!

There just seems to be a complete inability of the PTB to have a joined up thought amongst them all 😞
