TIGHTCHOKE
He recently published a 14000 word missive on how he wants to change the labour party and in particular how it chooses its leader. Now it is being rewritten and most of his changes have been removed. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/sep/25/starmer-ditches-key-part-of-plan-to-change-labour-leader-selection-rules Keep it up, all the time you and your once proud party are un-electable it means Boris can do whatever he wants. ditchman
corbyn and his MOMENTUM pals are on the radar once again.........and Milliband is making more air time in the commons..........Deja-vous?
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, he's more Sir Keith Charmer than Starmer 🤔
Gordon R
Never had much time for Starmer. Indecisive, lightweight and most tellingly - just plain boring. With the obnoxious Rayner as deputy, Labour are in a real mess.
Minky
Father told me not to discuss politics or religion because you just go round in useless circles that go nowhere and only end up in wars. ...... But...... Totally unelectable. Len McCluskey On the box now spouting how good Corbin is/was and ripping Starmer a new one. Just right for a politician. There I go, I just wasted a couple of minutes. I didn't learn. Edited September 26, 2021 by Minky
Cosmicblue
It seems likely that political students of the future will have to produce essays on how a political party made itself unelectable over multiple general elections. 🙃

MOMENTUM will dictate who leads the labour party.........until the party splits trouble is how can you fight against a manifesto that promises re-embusment of uni' fee's and free uni' fee's and the legalisation of canabis ...huh ? You may well be correct and of course if it does split, that would only weaken it even more. What with Sir Ed Davey and his 13 MP set up, we will not have a viable opposition for a long time. JohnfromUK
9 hours ago, ditchman said: Rayner is starting to show her colours and lack of education now Quite. Can anyone really think that someone like her is a suitable person to represent the UK (as a Minister, or senior member of Government) on the international stage? She is foul mouthed, hate filled, bile spouting, uneducated and totally lacks the skills needed for any form of diplomacy. She simply appeals to the 'thug' culture that seems to infect much of the labour party these days. I know that Johnson isn't exactly the most diplomatic person - but he is (apparently) quite popular internationally because people do understand that he makes his comments just a bit 'tongue in cheek' and take it with the humour it was intended (e.g. his Kermit the frog 'hard to be green' speech). It is actually quite hard to be humorous when with an international audience as senses of humour differ so much and what amuses some offends others. 7 minutes ago, TIGHTCHOKE said: What with Sir Ed Davey and his 13 MP They say 13 is "lucky for some"? Vince Green
Starmer has always appeared to me to be politically clumsy. Not a natural politician able to think on his feet or duck and dive like Boris.

Labour have had a mass exodus of female activists, you know, the middle aged and old women who had time to go around knocking on doors, delivering leaflets, attending meetings and canvassing. 300+ resigned en masse and Labour didn't care. Denying material reality does not make you a suitable leader of the country. The only good thing about Labour is that they are not the Lib Dems. Nail. Head. Conservatives *sort of* get that but appear to be a social democrat party and not proper conservatives. Whilst party conferences - labour especially - are always guilty of naval gazing, Labour seem to be taking that sport to new levels.

Who claims the end justifies the means? When they realise they lost another election because they pandered to what is essentially a religion headed by porn addled men, they are going to be hog sick. But all this trans stuff is going way too far. It's beginning to erode the rights of women and the right of everyone to believe scientific fact. TIGHTCHOKE
Has anybody else seen the dinosaurs playing? Good old Len Mcluskey got caught while being interviewed by channel 4 News, when a right wing old school labour MP told him what was going wrong. Pointless Len was attempting to justify Jeremy Corbyn as leader! Absolutely laughable.
