as i said it could be fake news....but reading between the lines it is still a live possibility..........i think she will be forced to call an election before labour can really get into gear  their lie machine..........but as you say lloyd90 whatever way you look at it .....its a joke

dont think the 1922 commitee will change the rules as it will make them look a joke as well..............really think she will call an election....

what a mess..........and embarrassing that the rest of the world are laughing at us....thats the ennoying part..

and if the conservertives win....im afraid it will be more of the same....i am searching for a answer that will stabilise our country......and quite honestly i am at a total loss

Fear not, they seem to like being a joke as they have practised hard?

Their package and expenses will see them through ok irrespective of the mayhem caused?

How long we giving Hunt, days , weeks?

The tory party is in full meltdown mode, they couldn't win an egg and spoon race at the moment let alone an election.

Truss is now odds on to resign this year according to the bookies.

Everyone I know ,no matter of which political persuasion, is totally astounded by the behaviour of the Conservative Gov .What are they doing to the country

Could you imagine how you would feel if you had voted for them?

She needs replacing?

Decided by who?

The membership have voted her the party leader.

Imagine voting her leader and then the MP conspire to get rid of her within weeks.

What’s the point of letting the members vote?

As much as it pains me to say it, I think the Tories are now unelectable. They just seem to be ricocheting from one cock up to another. Surely Kwartengs policies were aired before being made public?
The Tories only saving Grace is that the opposition has even less to offer. 🤷‍♂️

It is inevitable, all parties seem to self destruct in the end, but the tories seem to be gold medal winners in how to destroy a massive majority and make themselves unelectable.
A lot of blame has to go to their own mp's who seem to get it spectacularly wrong time and time again, even when their party members were telling them who they wanted they went in the opposite direction.

Its inevitable. Tory or Labour, makes no difference. Labour can offer the middle ground for now but it's shepherding the same decline either way. You can see why many in Scotland want out. It would be good to have the option.

I wonder if the MP’s elected her in the final two, thinking that Rishi would have a better chance of winning against such a poor candidate, but the rich Tory party members were only interested in her tax cut talk!

The data from the electorate was that if the elected Sunak the were doomed. Truss was the safer bet but it look like they had to decide which foot they had to shoot.

The membership did not pick her, they wanted Boris.

MP's narrowed the race to TWO, the membership then picked the least bad of the two.

I saw an MP questioned yesterday on the news.

They asked him if he thought it was bad to try and get out their new leader considering the members just voted her in.

He literally said they don’t care what the members want / voted for.
