It's surprising what's buried in the depths of garages and workshops, today I found still boxed and looking newish a Skill, cordless drill, 3/8th chuck. One of the first I think to hit the market in the 60s/70s. 2 speed, 100 & 300 rpms. I eventually found the Witworth spanner set I needed after going though lots of stuff I've lost and since re-bought.

Did you have one?

I have one just like it buried amongst old tools "somewhere"

Dad and I bought two B&D D720 drills for £8 each in I think the middle to late 60's, I eventually bought several attachments, sander, circular saw and hedge trimmer, can't remember when the switch packed in but the drill has been in the shed for at least 25 years.  I've managed to find both parts, gave them a clean and freed the chuck, now all I need to do is get a new switch, I hope.  Can't upload the picture as the file is too big.
