Looks like it's "coming soon" based on this being a video just published by Browning Europe.

I noticed that, I guess either a one eyed shooter or someone who looks good on film puling the trigger. Could well be someone they employed for the video, you never see him actually hit anything just pull the trigger and a separate clay breaking.

Hello, It would be easy to alter the filming ? I just thought interesting to note as it is a subject much debated,

Another ridiculous "finish" where the maker can't decide if the thing is to be plain and form follows function or enhanced by being engraved. So it ends up half and half as if the money budgeted ran out part way. Can't stand this neither fish, fowl nor good red herring approach. A gun should either be plain and proud that what it does is its best quality or fully engraved. I like to contrast my late father's Henry Clarke boxlock ejector that was absolutely plain and my own Boss that was full on engraved. Do it all or don't do it at all. This half and half engraving is ridiculous.

Difficult to get excited over the latest repackaged browning over and under.

Personally I like the look of this.

as there are no specs it’s hard to see where the differences are. I would say judging by the stock that it’s a dedicated clay gun with a more modern look to go after CG.

It reminds me of the Morris Marina, updated as the "Ital". A critic at the time said it was like combing the hair on a corpse. Now Browning are fine guns, but I agree with enfieldspares.

He is left handed and may have a right master eye.

I, like several other people on here, am left handed with a right master eye, but I, shoot right handed. Always have done. Shooting left handed would feel totally unnatural to me.

Me too.

I have a left master eye but shoot off the right shoulder.

I keep both eyes open until ready to pull the trigger then close left.

If shooting trap then close left from the start

That video is so smoothly produced to entice people to part with their hard earned.

 

What a shame they used such beautiful wood for an adjustable stock.

I think the 825 Citori has a plain action, although I’m sure there is a lengthy spec’ list. 
I get the impression some manufacturers struggle to come up with ‘new’ designs, after all, it can’t be easy as the mechanism was perfected around 100 years ago. The saying ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ comes to mind and they all have each other to compete with.
I just wish they’d forego the gold triggers; how and when someone thought that was a good idea either from an aesthetic or sales point of view I’ll never know. 
But when alls said and done it’s a Browning, so it won’t be bad.

On another note, lads at a gun shop in the midlands I was at the other day, are expecting the new 825 to be at least 200-300 more than the outgoing 725, so your talking over 2.5k for grade 1 .

I agree, but I noticed the one used in the video (which from the decent woodwork I assume to be a higher grade) doesn't have a gold trigger.

Yep just model numbers in the same way Beretta has the 682, 686, 694 etc etc
