Miserableolgit
I just came across this photo of my current crew as it was earlier this year so thought I would pop it here for posterity. L-R Willow [4], Belle [home bred 3], Moss [home bred, same litter 3], Clover [Mum to the other spaniels but sadly had to be put down back in March aged 7], Juno [13] and Monty the Patterdale [13]. I've had dogs all my life, usually more than one and don't think I would like to be without one. We lost our last Lab dog due to old age back in October last year, he just slipped away naturally and peacefully but seeing this pic of Clover again hurts. She was a bit special and my shadow, where I went she wanted to come too. Having to say goodbye to her is still raw - as is the loss of all our previous friends. Lovely pic they just morph into total happiness on shoot days. Im missing picking up this season, with the shoot packing up and Osteoarthritis in one of the dogs front elbow we've been better.
