Not only could they not invade Scully but the Germans never brought Fighter Command to it's knees.

I would suggest a 16g or 20g Hammer gun with Damascus barrels from around the 1880 - 90's - must be English, a well known maker and cased.

Stunning picture.

We could use cheap foreign labour to wind up elastic band powered Airliners.

I have an identical jacket - would not be without it in the winter - superb.

Cannot remember when I bought my 452, but at least 15 years ago - bought the CZ because the importers were the only people who would give us the time of day at a Bisley Event as we walked around (2 of us with new FAC's) looking for our first RF. Never had the remotest problem with it - think it's only been zeroed a couple of times and simply does the job.

I must admit, all bravado aside, that I would not hesitate to use any firearm that I could lay my hands on to defend my family and to hell with the consequences.

To be fair ,Walker570, there is no comparison between a TX and any Gamo - different as Chalk and Cheese ( saying does not include Asda's "chosen by you" mild chedder) -

ONG!! Someone pass me a tissue Gunporn at it's best. -
On a "limited mileage" policy you have to sign a declaration stating current mileage - if you think you are going to exceed that amount as the year goes by then you can buy more miles - normally 1000 at a time.

" I had to fall to lose it all but in the end it doesn't even matter"

I use the Army type water canteens that come in a "Holster" simply attached to my belt - mine is 1ltr but carrying 2 would not be a problem.....about £12 off Fleabay.

Just a thought.....and at least try it - use the gun with a thick woollen glove on your trigger hand - thicker the better - this is assuming that nobody else has had this fault occur whilst shooting the gun. If that fails then try Douglas Burton Gunsmith - not too far from you.

There is absolutely no excuse for causing pain during a minor operation these days - if you are worried about the surgery then it's easy to work yourself up and almost make matters worse. I would demand a General if you are going to have more surgery. I had an anaesthetic a while ago that I was told would sedate me to such an extent that, while I would still feel the pain, I would not remember it afterwards!!! Great eh? Your other option would be to go private - different world as far as pain relief options go. On another note - never heard of a Dentist performing any kind of surgery while you have an infection?? Normally it's a coarse of Antibiotics about 7 days before any procedure?

As a Multi choke, cutting a couple of inches off the tubes is NOT an option - these barrels need proper attention from a competent Gunsmith. Cannot believe anyone could treat such a Gun in this way,

Most likely find that your Shotgun will group better than that -
It might be wise to remind her that any involvement of either insurance company will see both your renewals going up next time - even if she makes a no fault claim.

I have always used a Parker Hale cheapo - pretty sure it was made for an Airgun but with subs it's quieter than a mouse's botty burp.

Nigh on impossible to determine the potential accuracy of a gun over 7m and without a scope .

A pin punch is your best bet in these circumstances.

Who's "falling out"? A difference of opinion is what forums are all about surely? I can respect ultrastu's views without any malice whatsoever.....but if ever I meet him and I have my fighting handbag with me
-
You have had 10 excellent ultra,s? Why would you sell 5 "excellent" guns? Best way to determine the best gun in the real world would be to discover which manufacturer wins most Trophies at FT competitions etc? When you consider BSA's long history it's a shame that very few models were outstanding in any sense, yet AA seem to make the best (out of the box) under lever in the TX, the very best break barrel in the Pro Elite whilst their Competition rifles are capable of winning Trophy after Trophy and all from a company that is relatively new to the game. Customer service, however, is shocking

Bought a Scorpion about a year ago cos it was going cheap, chap in Scotland was getting rid because of the licence fiasco and the fact that, as he put it, "the pellets just keep going lower and lower"- he honestly did not realise that PCP's needed charging regularly . Anyhow, despite being a sceptic of the BSA brand since the take over, I must confess to being very pleased at the quality and, more importantly, the accuracy that this diminutive gun was capable of, so much so that for a couple of weeks the AA twins were finding themselves sitting at home gathering dust while the Scorpion went Nutty bashing. Problem was, however, that the sweet spot was around 170 bar but that only gave about 40 shots that were spot on before the zero began to drop. "But have you ever shot 40 Squizzers?" I hear all you Beeza fans say? Well no....but by the time you have checked zero, 5 shots if all is okay, you find your mind wondering about the air left...if you fluff a shot then 5 more to recheck zero plus the bodged one and I start getting a bit worried. So I sold it, didn't really want to because it really was a good gun - but with a reg fitted and a bigger tube (not that expensive surely and could be built/assembled in Turkey?) the gun would have been a serious threat to the AA domination of my cabinet.

Apologies, bornfree, but that should have been put down at birth......is it possible to unsee something?
