Surely one of the most charismatic and loved Royals of all time. RIP Sir.

I meet many dog walkers every day, some professional and some just owners taking max out for a dump. The over riding annoyance for me is when I get chatting and the conversation turns to "not many places to walk my dog", often I have suggested such and such woodland or areas of open fields only to hear the "Oh, I cant walk fido there because he chases Sheep", this from profesionals as much as old Grannies out with Mr Waggles. Now, my dogs will not bat an eye at sheep, Deer or anything that moves unless I tell them, why cant other people train their bloody dogs? These attacks are going to carry on until it becomes illegal to be stupid. As for rehoming problem Dogs, all mine are rescue/rehome and always have been, I've taken in Dogs that have been muzzled for years because they bite, dogs never allowed off lead cos they run away and even a Springer too frightened to let you stroke him (for months) and would hide in a bush as soon as he saw somebody approaching, my last (and one of my current) was 34kg (springer) who could not jump into the car and cried because his paws became sore after a couple of days walking because he was never allowed out of the house and was so overweight. Every single dog has made a brilliant, and well behaved, companion with a little time and patience, that's all a dog asks for.

Deffo a quality act and better than the much loved HW35, in a class of it's own until the HW80 came along and swept the floor with pretty much everything else before it.

OK, make 100% sure that there is nothing in the barrel....cock the gun and put your finger/thumb over the muzzle, fire the gun then releasae your finger within a second or 2.....can you hear a puff of air? I'm guessing not, I would imagine that the washer has broken up/rotted, think they are plastic/PTFE on these. Do not keep firing it without anything in the barrel as the piston may get damaged. This is an easy repair but be careful, these guns are getting quite rare now and deserve treating with care and respect. If you are not competant with mechanical tasks get a gunsmith to do the job, notice yours still has the open sights as well, niiiiiiiiiice.LOOK AFTER HER (or sell her to me).

Unbelievable marksmanship sir, consider my hat well taken off to you...

Might be of interest, might not, but as a transplant patient (immuno suppressed) having now received 2 doses of the AZ vaccine, my latest blood results have shown no changes whatsoever in any field, my platelets remain unchanged and no other tested field has displayed any variation beyond normal fluctuatin levels. My immuno levels are as before (3 months ago) and the only drop has been in Vitamin D which, according to my consultant, is par for the course with the age of my transplant.

For an honest review of the RM-8 take a shufty at the AGFand the review by "cloverleaf", I said it was a pile of carp a couple of years ago, others are starting to realise the same. Dont be tempted by things like Logun or Webley (turkish delight), stick to well known, time served quality. If you can pick up anything by Air Arms then do, a BSA Scorpion is a hugely under- rated gun (dont tell anyone I said that) but the chinese are delivering some superb rifles at silly prices. I keep banging on about my Artemis P15 (£395) but it delivers the goods nearly every day and has become my go to gun, leaving my Air Arms S510 R gathering dust in the cupboard. Now I swear by AA but this little P shooter has got me wondering why anyone would spend near 3 times the price for a gun that is, in the real world, no better than my chinese takeaway.I'm willing to put money on the notion that if you tried a P15 you would buy one and then wonder why you had'nt years ago.

So all we have really learnt is that Stu 's other half most likely spent most of her easter hols looking for her Bacon.

I'm going with basket of fire again, they look superb amoung the flowerbeds then picked, cut into small pieces and frozen. Ideal for throwing into a curry to add a little more zing.
-
Artemis P15, just under £400, 100+ shots, light as a feather, mags cheap as chips and comes with an 11 shot mag and a single shot tray, can almost fit in your handbag. I would never have considered buying one of these before but just needed something light, would not hesitate, now, to compare it to anything on the market at twice the price.

Yes please, pm me your acc details and I will BACS.

Local weather report said 6 degrees and cloudy all day, sat outsides with all the neighbours all day in T shirts and most of us got sun burn.

Might help if you said what region you're in.....no good suggesting somewhere you might get some rabbit shooting in an area where they are almost non existant.

The .22's dont jam the action, too big to fit inside.

Chuck loads of sharp sand over it next Autumn, not builders sand.

I have 2 metal sheds, most things end up completly soaked due to condensation, lined them with polystyrene tiles but they just fall off as I think the metal expands and contracts so much. Kept my motorbike in one,one winter and it came out looking like it had been in a bath for months, now kept in a wooden shed....no probs.

Corned Beef with beetroot and salad cream, food of the gods.

A lot of motorbikes come with such a tool for adjusting the rear spring.

Had my second jab a couple of days ago, less reaction than the first.

If any gun will not group at 15 yards you should take it back, it is not a test of accuracy that is worthy of reporting. Mine jammed twice the first week that I owned it, following a Squirrel through the branches and I have spoken to AA about it. The gauges on the US range new guns has been updated, several forums have reports of such and potential owners should be warned not to use the onboard gauge when filling the gun. Clangerman, what calibre is yours?
-
Not much point checking accuracy at 15 yards, 50 yards should be the benchmark, the later S510's have a differenbt gauge to the one shown - they do not register correct pressure for around a minute after filling, try holding the gun at 45 degrees upwards and fire/cycle a mag, chances are that a pellet will fall backwards on indexing and jam the action.

People who died from Covid after catching it in hospital
bruno22rf replied to Vince Green's topic in Off Topic
I was in hospital last July for just over a week, the chair in my room had blood on it, the shower cubicle was thick with grime and in the 6 days that I was in the room was never cleaned apart from one guy came in with a mop one morning and casually flicked it around. The NHS does not need more funding, it needs somebody in charge of each ward with balls. -
No laughing now - Lidl frozen Brussels, not sure where they get them (not often in store) but they elevate the humble sprout to new levels. Otherwise, Honey Roast Parsnips, food of the gods.

Never, ever, seem one, add it to my bucket list.
