ollie
I take a packed lunch to work every day and I am a little bored of the normal Ham & Cheese sandwiches, so I am after your favourite fillers. All suggestions are welcome, no matter how wierd or simple. Either that or get a new wife who can make decent sandwiches

ollie
Some great suggestions and some wierd ones . Like the idea of the shredded rabbit, which got me thinking on a confit rabbit leg might be nice. Keep them coming. shaun4860
BLT but has to be cold crispy smoked streaky bacon, with mayo on either malted sliced bread on white roll. Hard boiled egg, cucumber, onion, english mustard and salad cream all finely chopped and mixed on an olive ciabatta. I'm easy pleased
rimfire4969
Egg mayo and cheese & onion crisp on white. Or I had the other day something that even tips this. Egg mayo and frazzles on white, it's the sandwich that's keeps on giving.

Blackpowder
Try a hot smoked mackerel fillet spread on a well buttered multigrain roll, a touch of pepper and slight squeeze of lemon and your away. Blackpowder
TriBsa
Lots of good suggestions here, but do they pass the Lunchbox Test? I think a lot of the sarnies would not be so good eaten 4-5 hours after preparation without refrigeration. Crisps would definitely go soggy. Even the humble and delicious cheese and onion sandwich seems less good a few hours after making it.
Whitebridges
Cold lamb, mint jelly with plenty of black pepper.
