FalconFN
Earlier in the year i saw a hen harrier here in Sussex, probably my rarest bird sighting. I saw a water rail in Surrey. I watched one being released a while ago, it had been caught by a cat but survived.

Hamster
As a very young boy I was once looking at a sparrow resting on a TV aerial and after a while noticed a crow gently flapping in obviously intent on landing on same, the sparrow took flight a split second before and casual as you like the crow caught it with its feet as it landed. Longchalk
An Osprey, fishing in the wild, in Kent. There weren't supposed to be any anywhere near that far south, but my shooting buddy & I saw this one a few times. It helped that he was a former zoologist with an interest in raptors, so I'm pretty certain what it was.
