matth12321
Just got my ticket back with lots of spaces to fill and not enough room in the current cabinet so I'm after something a bit bigger, it will need to be big enough for 11 scoped rifles minimum. Any suggestions? Matt.

The Mighty Prawn
The big Brattonsound ones are great lots room. I've got the biggest one they do and it holds 9/10 comfortably, 10 generally but with a few bolt actions its 9 so they don't bash each other - it was hideous to get into the loft though! station
What have you got at the moment ? If it's something like a Brattonsound 7 gun then buy another and just have them hang the door opposite then bolt together. Cheaper option maybe? JohnfromUK
I have a 'Clays Shooters Supplies' that takes 15 guns, 8 across the back and 7 in the door rack - where they are retained by a hinged bracket. Works very well with plenty of room to avoid damage taking things in and out - and is simple with the (standard BS approved Chubb, so easily replaced or serviced by a locksmith if necessary) locks bolting the door directly (no levers etc.) and plane of plain painted heavy gauge steel. Police have always been very happy with it and it has always struck me as a good solid basic design. I stayed on an estate recently that had a safe with some (4?) across the back and two (?) each side. They were a very tight squeeze - and the whole thing was an absolute recipe for dented barrels/stock damage. Choose one with plenty of room where any one gun can be taken out/replaced without disturbing others.
figgy
Get the R24 as we all know bigger is always better. You can never have too much room for your guns. I have a ten gun cabinet and only put four in, would not want more in.
Muddy Funker
Get the R24 as we all know bigger is always better. You can never have too much room for your guns. I have a ten gun cabinet and only put four in, would not want more in. I'm of the same opinion, I've got one of the deep Brattonsound 7-8 gun models, only ever had 2 shottys and 3 rifles one of which was air. Got rid of a 410 and the air rifle recently so it's looking a little empty! Still they don't all clatter together so all good in my book. Jaymo
Have the Titan in an Oak cabinet being delivered hopefully next week to supplement the 9 gun Infac that I have- well, cwas meamt to replace so thst the good lady would regain one of her kitchen cabinets that the Infac is in. But have the feeling the space is going to be filled :-), the problem of free licencing here is too many temptations.
aris
Titan can be seen here: http://www.bobdunkleyfirearms.co.uk/Gun-Cases/Titan-Gunsafes/ Bit pricey if you ask me - but not all that many options in that size. JohnfromUK
Titan can be seen here: http://www.bobdunkleyfirearms.co.uk/Gun-Cases/Titan-Gunsafes/ Bit pricey if you ask me - but not all that many options in that size. Looking at this, it has the guns both across the back and on the sides. This makes them a VERY tight fit and easily dented/damaged. You pretty much have to remove the side guns before you can get one from the back. I much prefer the type with a single row across the back - and a second row on the inside of the door. The bigger 'Clays Shooters Supplies' ones are done this way; http://www.shooterssupplies.co.uk/security-cabinets/made-to-measure/ Not sure on prices these days, but when I bought mine 30 years ago they were competitive. Jaymo
Got my Titan today. Looks v nice- just a shame its full already. And, as mentioned above, the large scoped rifles needed to be fitted side ways on so to get one from the back you need to remove another. Have put the leat used ones back there........ Already thinking of the next cabinet- just clicked on the Clay Shooting Supplies custom made and its got me thinking :-)

team tractor
http://www.swillingtonshootingsupplies.co.uk/store/product/13863/Buffalo-River-14-Gun-Cabinet/ I have a buffalo river 7 rifle cabinet and at £200 inc a top /ammo safe it's fantastic value for money. I wouldn't ever bother with bratton sound again
theshootist
I have a sentry 24 gun. It would fit 24 guns at a tight squeeze. Sportsmans sell them along with the larger 36 gun safe.
Dougy
If it were me I would have 2. I do have 2 as it happens and has more benefits than just one big one.
rjimmer
I got my 15-gun cabinet from Clay Shooters Supplies nearly 40 years ago and they still have them on their website. Not sure if a full length F-class rifle would go in under the ammo store though.
Jaymo
If it were me I would have 2. I do have 2 as it happens and has more benefits than just one big one. Use two of my old ones in the garage for all the power tools that could potentially be used to gain access to the house or motorbike chain. Now have the Infac spare with this replacement Titan. In a compromise I had to get one disguised as furniture so my next one would have to be also- seen a Grand Father clock type on the fleabay. But would ideally like to find someone who could encase a cabinet cheaper
