Rewulf
Absolutely terrible ,it does not sound good for her. All Remain/Brexit campaigning has been suspended. http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/680568/Labour-Jo-Cox-shooting-stabbing-EU-referendum-European-Union This sort of thing does no favours to any part of the EU argument, and should be roundly condemned by both sides and if they have any integrity whatsoever, Britain first. rjimmer
Terrible shame, but have to admit I'm surprised something like this hasn't happened before with some of the stunts MP's and government pull. Let's hope she pulls through. +1. We abide by democracy to avoid this sort of thing, but when some people think democracy is being abused....... four-wheel-drive
Very sad I would think that it will turn out that the guy has mental problems and people have said that it looked like he had a home made gun that he could have made in his shed. BBC 'Handmade weapon' Mr Abdallah, 56, was in a cafe next door to the library shortly after 13:00 BST when he heard screaming and went outside. "There was a guy who was being very brave and another guy with a white baseball cap who he was trying to control and the man in the baseball cap suddenly pulled a gun from his bag". After a brief scuffle, he said the man stepped back and the MP became involved. Mr Abdallah said the weapon had "looked handmade" and a man who had been wrestling with the gunman continued even after seeing the gun. He said: "The man stepped back with the gun and fired it and then he fired a second shot, as he was firing he was looking down at the ground." "He was kicking her as she was lying on the floor" Edited June 16, 2016 by four-wheel-drive

They'll put it down to mental problems anyway, they won't want the general public thinking feelings about the referendum are running this high. FalconFN
Utterly shocking. I feel for her children and husband. Reading between the lines, it appears that the perpetrator may have had psychological issues. That's no comfort to her family but it at least starts to throw light on such a senseless attack.
