Wb123
I cycle to work and use £150 sports direct bikes that are cheaper to replace than maintain, usually i go through one every eight months or about 3000 miles. They are cheap to run and i wont be upset when one gets pinched. My current one is five months in to its expected life. Today i locked up outside the front door of a hospital in the roughest parts of belfast in the usual throng of smokers, then came back out of work in the ******* rain to find some kind soul had put a saddle cover on it and lubed up and indexed the gears. Yes i did check it was the same bike i locked up this morning. Thank you whichever kind soul made my evening.
Danger-Mouse
Bravo to whoever did it. One of those unexpected moments that really make your day. I had one yesterday. On Sunday I did a run and whilst doing a drop at some services on the west bound A64 I bought myself a Costa coffee. Did the same run on Monday and when I had finished my drop at the same services the guy asked if I wanted a coffee, when I said yes he told me it was on the house. Really nice gesture that just made my day.

Danger-Mouse
Did you get lubed and indexed too? lol, nope, just a free cup of coffee. I'll grant you it's not as selfless an incident as the OP's but it was still a very nice gesture.

Jason_ox
It's been in the news recently that there was a random act of kindness week from 12th -18th Feb. If you have received a RAK then you'll more than likely feel good and subsequently carry out a RAK for another person and so on. Spread the love etc
mel b3
that was a very nice thing for someone to do , well done that person. if more people did things like this , the world would be a much nicer place to live.

winnie&bezza
Or they are trying to make themselves feel better and amend previous sins. Very thoughtful gesture if not though.

impala59
Good to read of something positive for a change......usually this page is full of scumbag stories. I lost my workbag off my motorbike (bungy snapped) a car driver retrieved it and caught up with me to return it, saved me no end of hassle and grief! There are decent people out there, every good deed encourages another, lets hope we can outnumber the scum
keg
I think the majority are decent, it's the few percent that make the news. My mum has little or no eyesight and occasionally will ask for help at an ATM. As yet, no one has ripped her off.
