figgy
Not everyone has the same sense of humour, my wife cries laughing at Family Guy I rately crack a smile. She won't find the humour I like funny most times. Dodd was good for years but times move on.
Red-dot
I disagree strongly!! Doddy live on stage could tell off the hip jokes for 2-3 hours and when live was as good as it gets. Todays comedians are scripted story tellers who couldnt lace the likes of Ken or Tommys boots... Corden-Brand-Izzard-Boyle-walliams-Trump, i rest my case M'Lud. UKPoacher
Doddy is a legend. I went to see him at Sheffield. He must have been around 70 years old then and yet he was on stage for around five hours and never missed a beat. His humour has stood the test of time - literally. Apart from the gags about his tax issues part of the script was basically the same as on a radio show he did in the 70's and don't forget that in his day he was a pretty good singer too. People like Bruce Forsythe and Jimmy Tarbuck aren't good enough to lace his boots.

Walker570
agree Yep, I just don't get him at all..BUT..he has been a great entertainer and given many some very happy times. Considering some who have been given titles he deserved it a long long time ago.
