Danger-Mouse
Console yourself with the fact it's probably dead by now then. House spiders can't survive outdoors.

figgy
Friday evening came home from shopping wife said look at that, bloody huge spider on the house wall, I said you like spiders pick it up and move it. Her reply couldn't be put up on here, it was the one of the biggest we have seen in a few years. Davyo it's breeding season so get ready for more with the wet weather we're having more will be coming indoors. Big ones are scary by their size but it's those weird little jumping ones I don't like, as you go near them they move round watching you then jump when you least expect it. shalfordninja33
Sue's a beauty! Amazes me how tactile they are when a walk across your hands. I've held a few at the zoo, my kids love them. What exactly is it!?! Edited October 1, 2017 by shalfordninja33
Davyo
Well showed the wife the picture this morning. Now I have a Conker in each corner of ever room.Frightens spiders apparently,if I don't get bitten by a big spider I'm sure to slip on a Conker lol. Mice!
I think the conker thing is something to do with the scent they give off, someone on telly last week said they were getting fresh conkers to keep the spiders out? We've had a few big ones and one that comes out from under the TV stand every night, not as big as Susan tho.

kyska
Bird Eating Spider for a guess? She is, a salmon pink bird eater, she's a youngster, I'm expecting some more growth. They will kill a mouse with ease.

Sha Bu Le
Sorry but once it let go of my thumb i would have stood on it. Think it would have at least two toes off you maybe three. Give it a bone instead followed by a pat and a stroke. Anyhoos re the first pic...........get used to them according to the Daily Fail we're going to be invaded by 150 million of them this winter. Think most of those are in my garden already, never seen so many. Just as well we're pretty laid back about spoidys.
