rovercoupe
There are people out driving to where we are to walk there dogs and ride horses and where I work in the dales there are hordes of Lycra clad men on the bikes out enjoying themselfs on the roads so it's going to get worse! Mr.C
I never knew there were so many pushbikes. And what makes fat middle aged men think they look like Bradley Wiggins just because they wear stretchy, brightly coloured, blubber tight onesies is beyond me. Obviously as they don't make carbon fibre bells they can't fit or use one. 😬

They appear from behind us when out walking, and give us dirty looks when they have to slow down for us. The use of a bell makes common sense to me but I suppose it would create wind resistance and slow them down! 😃
Dave-G
Actually it seems to be a case of how imprtant people are and how much influence is had on officialdom. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/procession-shia-muslims-dressed-black-3291350?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=display&utm_campaign=exchange
Mr.C
@Scully I have to restrain my Patterdale when cyclists come past. This stems from taking her to work with me in London where self-righteous cyclists ride straight at you on zebra crossings. She understandably sees this as a threat. Maybe it says a lot about her own prejudices. Edited April 10, 2020 by Newbie to this
TIGHTCHOKE
Can a virus be racist?

Three weeks ago , just about every single person we saw , was carrying toilet rolls , but this week , Overy other person was a jogger , most of them are so pale they look like albinos , I reckon most of them haven't seen the light of day for years , and they're going stir crazy at home. NatureBoy
As a local doctor said." Many are trying to get fit for when not if they get CV". That is if the stress and worrying about getting it don't get them first! Never seen so many pale strangers about. . . . I think some think you can get it from making eye contact! No probs I think at the moment we have too much ‘info’ being bandied around, that it’s hard to weed out the wheat from the chaff

ShootingEgg
Myself and the other half went out for a cycle yesterday, no lycra in sight.. We slow or stop for dogs and walkers, I'd hate to hit a dog... As I walk the dog alot I know how idiotic most cyclists are so I respect any dog walker I see. It really isn't hard to slowdown or stop as they pass
bluesj
I don't think jogging is a good way to stay healthy at the moment, I've had 3 in the last couple of weeks run out in the road in front of me! Yes getting too close to someone may mean you could get corvid 19 but getting too close to a 7.5 ton truck going 30mph isn't going to be much better for you! The fat idiots are running in the road here permanently now. Along side 20 foot wide footpaths which are empty as everybodys trespassing in the fields. Been giving the horn a good airing
