good question , but it should not be political.

Both the Welsh and Scottish ministers have asked Boris who should be telling the Scottish or Welsh people what they should be doing,  both trying to pick an argument I would say,  more so Blackford.

Happily Boris seemed to dismiss them both saying we are all in this together.

Not sure what the point the quick fire questions serve with people asking 3 or 4 part questions,  but at least the questions are being asked and answered in a civilised manner.

hello, i do not understand why Wales and Scotland and Northern Ireland  can have different rules when we a all part of the United Kingdom,

Because Sturgeon reckons we are two weeks behind England with the virus so its impossible for the four country's to work at the same pace

People just need to use their common sense.

Those intent on going to the Lakes or other national parks can go, but bear in mind they have to take their own food as there will be nothing for them there; no pubs or restaurants, cafes or shops are open ( apart from supermarkets ) and if you aren’t recognised as a local you may not be served even there. No campsites or caravan or static sites are open, nor glamping facilities.
There is even talk locally of closing access to the Fells ( easier than it sounds ) as all access is designated anyhow and not a right to roam.
Just use your common sense.

Dave G where’s the common sense come in opening McDonald.

From where I can see you are in Leicester it’s ok you can go out if you want shoot or fish the point I was making why can’t we go out fishing or shooting in Wales

My somewhat dyslexic point was fresh air is better than staying in a city where umpteen people (and vehicles) have breathed the same air - and some pathogens will likely be blowing around - whilst UV light, vitamin D and trees will provide much better quality air for our lungs.

I understand your concern, but do you really think this virus will ever go away. Personally I think it will be around a while longer yet. So how long are you prepared to stay in?

Secondly was it 4 or 5 new deaths in Wales over night. At what point do you consider the wider benefits of taking safe and sensible steps to normality out weigh the current risk ?

Because their politicians like to bolster their own sense of self importance, they couldn't possibly just go along with what Boris says.

I'm not with you - are you suggesting my comment about fresh air is bad?

Well Boris said the fines have been increased!

If i heard it right in the commons, it sounded like £50 "will be replacing£30  & the £70 going to £100. " He said something sounded like  "fines could be £3000 but we do not want to fine anybody" . I only caught the tail end of it and Kids were making a dim so i did not hear it exact. But think its right what i just said.

The jist is that there re higher fines - and the fines go up for repeat offenders ....... up to a maximum of £3200 I think it was - not sure if that is £3200 'cumulative' or £3200 per offence once you have clocked up enough.

Not sure how you set about collecting these fines from certain groups ......

I saw that.   I think starmer was lame . Winging about Boris And his announcement yesterday and the Opening of some firms Wednesday and no Document for guidance.  I thought it was a bit petty, and just a Gov.com download link for the guidance/ safety would have that covered. A Female Newcastle MP was trying to get miles from "why had they lifted lockdown"  When clearly they had not.  Put it this way if today was a sign of Labours opposition. I think its Pathetic.

When they dont pay up ,the usual way unless things have changed is you issue a summons. If they refuse to attend court, then it's an arrest warrant. In the end in if the system works they eventually got a small sentence usually 14 to 28 days. Ay least that's how it used to work

I have said this from the start, Boris has a hard job to do. He can not win. He is damned if he does and damned if he don’t.

I Think overall he "The Government"  has done and is doing a good job.

Q. Could we have done a better job.? A. perhaps.

Q. Could we have done a worse job.?  A. Perhaps.

We did not know much about this virus when it kicked off here, and we are still learning.
