bruno22rf
She's beautiful - I'm dreading losing my boy, even though he's only 6 he has heart problems, he is full of life at the moment but knowing that it could end at any moment often finds me in tears - nothing on 2 legs has ever come close to my bond with him. JohnfromUK
Very sad. I have had to take both of my two (now some years ago_ to a final vets visit, and it is indeed one of the hardest things to do - ever. But it is also the right thing to do when the time comes, and you have done 'your duty'. Well done. The last battle is correct, but a tear jerker for me. Rob85
I feel for you mate, this time last year I knew my cocker...my first dog of my own... only had a few weeks left. Think I was dehydrated by the time I finished sobbing in the car on the way home.
samboy
Got to be the worst feeling in the world when you lose your old pet. That's why i always have 2 or 3 dogs so you can always console yourself with them when one of them goes. But time heals as they say. Feel for you though. old'un
Know how you feel mate, had to have my springer put down, he was riddled with cancer, broke my heart, he was only 7, that was 9 years ago and I still get a lump in my throat when I think of him, he was my best mate. Scully
I feel for you, I really do; they leave a big hole when they go. I just think of all the good times my Border had, and the thoroughly proper terrier life she enjoyed, doing all the things ( and much much more ) that terriers love doing. People give us shooters grief for so many reasons, but they can’t give us grief over the quality of life our dogs have; the life a dog is meant to live. Remember the good times.
