US Election Results!

Unless you are personally witnessing any event, then you have to rely on media reporting, or hearsay.

Both CNN and Fox News are reporting the following (go look):
Postal Services still discovering bundles of postal votes and they will be counted.
Apparently, some States counted through the night, others stopped and started again in the morning, suggesting poor security.
Observers have either not been allowed entry, or have been posted so far away they can not see anything.
There is much more.

The rewards are so high and so many people are committed, that it is no surprise that some shenanigans are taking place.

Less messing around with votes by despot in Africa.

This in the country of the free and the brave.

The lawless and rioters more like.

Should put the army on the streets, start rioting or looting get shot simples.

The whole voting ballot system needs a full refresh with full accountability.

You've got all this multivoting by some, yet friends who married locals have citizenship pay taxes can't vote.

I try not to comment on other countries politics (usually anyway!), but this mess of all the different states having different voting and counting rules and applied differently is slightly the same as we are now seeing here on the Covid rules with Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland (which is also very messy).  So we have a common thread in the problems.

There should be one unified set of rules applied to the whole USA - same votes, same rules, same procedures for counting and accounting.

Similarly here - there should be one unified set of rules for Covid for the UK - and if needed different 'tiers' (the same tier structure and rules for the whole of the UK), but the tier level applied regionally as appropriate to the current situation locally.

That is what the common word UNITED means in both our countries names

Its easy to forget that in America each State is actually a separate autonomous country effectively. Or at least it was back in the day

Also the electoral college system, which was put into place as a bit of a fudge initially, has glaring anomolies. Some states get twenty EC votes and another state gets three.

So if a candidate wins by a single vote in say Florida he gets twenty electoral college votes. If his opponent wins by a million votes in Maine he only gets about three.

So its heavily skewed towards not how many votes a candidate gets as much as where he gets them., Thats how Hillary Clinton got three million more votes than Trump in 2016 but still lost

Agreed - but to elect a President of a United States of America - the 'unity' bit should begin with the voting process.  What they doe for state legislature might be more variable (but I think even that would be better with one set of rules)

Still all

The social media claims were accompanied with screenshots of vote tallies showing an addition of 138,339 votes for Biden, but none for anyone else. The screenshots showed no time stamp nor indicated who had posted the vote tallies.

So where did this come from?

The memes were based on an apparent typo on a lone national media site, DecisionDeskHQ.

There is no evidence of voter fraud, particularly since the error did not appear on any official state vote collection site.

There's proof of a 118 year old man (and others) having voted in Michigan, I saw the video online and thought I'd check myself (using google to find the pages rather that possible false links), you can too, the Michigan Voter Information Center url is https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/ but feel free to google it and use the official link (the same one).

The details to check are:

Name: WIlliam Bradley

Birth month: March

Birth Year: 1902

ZIPcode: 48207

Although dead he managed to receive an application 11th of September and return it on the 2nd of October

One will hardly make much difference, it would be hard to find any election where mistakes were not made.

Yes it shows one fraudulent vote.

So with this evidence and also other mathematical discrepancies it would seem that an investigation would be justified as the best course of action

Im not sure youre grasping the situation.

Voter numbers in the all important swing states are unprecedented , average numbers of registered voters who actually vote, is usually around 55 %

Pennsylvania is on track for a 95% turnout, and the other swingers similar.

Nobody is on the money, when they stopped counting (as Trump was looking highly likely to win) the swing states, the cat was truly out of the bag.
Think about this, the demo and republic safe states got counted and allocated very quickly, they all had postal voting too.

The swing states seem to have this pregnant pause...

It seems unlikely to me that Trump would be highlighting the flaws in the postal voting system for weeks and then not encourage his supporters to exploit them them for his own ends. Given the sort of man he is.

In AZ officials noticed that lots of Republican postal votes have been coming in all filled out by a sharpie pen so they flagged it up as suspicious

And if there is a issue it can be investigated, if Trump was winning he would have no issues  with the voting process.

The democrats have had 4 years of complaining about how Trump stole the election from Killary, so I think its fair that Trump does like wise if he  loses
There WILL be an investigation, of that there is no doubt.

Allegedly, democrat activists were handing obvious Trump supporters Sharpie markers to use, you can only use ballpoint on ballots, otherwise the ballot is invalidated. There is footage of this on social media, taken on the day and shared and the authorities have been notified.

They've also spent almost four years whining alleging Trump is racist, then they go and elect an actual one.

You are absolutely right, there will be a challenge through the courts that is likely to end up in the supreme courts.

The outcome will be the same.  That there is no vast systemic conspiracy across multiple states involving what would be tens of thousands of people including judges and elected representatives, colluding to shaft Trump out of a genuine election win.

Will there be individual cases of people trying to abuse the system? Yes, undoubtedly there will be, however will that be at a scale involving millions, possibly stretching into 10 million plus voters, all biased toward the Democrats?
