Stephen-H
Just now, welsh1 said: Nail varnish remover? Beat me to it! Use the above & once it's removed the sticky residue wash it over again with warm soapy water to remove any traces of the nail varnish remover as its basically a form of paint thinners & will damage any plastics , paints etc it comes in contact with if left on to long

bigroomboy
You don't want to use acetone as it will likely damage the surface of the PVC. Most stick adhesives are quite polar so alcohol is the way to go. Meths or isopropyl alcohol and the won't damage plastics.
Rupert
Car details use a product to soften adessives, I use GTR, from EZ Care Car. Alternatively if its not 100 percent set a heat gun.
