The reason is I thought that it would spice it up. IT WAS AWFUL 😖 What have you put in mash that you didn't like and what do you put in that you find that you do like? Stephen-H Posted January 9, 2023 Report Share Posted January 9, 2023 I've put black pudding in mash before ...spot on make the mash in proper heart attack style, good dollop of butter , good dollop of double cream , salt , pepper fresh chives if you have them warm it up on the hob as well before hand so it meets the boiled potatoes at a similar temperature ( always potato ricer the mash ) .
