And then get the local minicab firm to take them to the airport. Around £20. On the return they get the same minicab firm to pick them up and take them back to where they left the car. But I would ask local-to-you minicab firms to quote you for a Bristol airport run. Might not be as pricey as you think, and will save you lots of hassle. sandspider Posted February 14, 2023 Report Share Posted February 14, 2023 Flew from Bristol recently, and paid about £85 to park in the long stay carpark for 6 days, which was less than a return taxi would have cost. Also, kept my keys and knew no one had been ragging my car around! Plus it's nice to know the car is waiting when we get back, no dragging children & bags around looking for a taxi, even if pre booked. Your mileage may vary. steve_b_wales Posted April 17, 2023 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2023 Further to my question about parking at Bristol Airport (£164 for two weeks, keeping my keys) there's a company called Whitegates Bed & Breakfast who charge £75 for 15 days and also offer B&B for £50 (room only) or continental brealfast @ £9 pp. Keys have to left with them and they take you/bring you back ftom the airport. I realise it will be 4 journeys for the taxi firm. I'm totally against handing my keys over and would rather pay the extra £40 to able to keep them. Mt step daughter has offered to take us to the airport and bring us back, but we don't arrive back until 02:45 the earliest. She works everyday and we feel it would be too much for her. I'm not surprised coming back at that time. If your against leaving your car then getting dropped off and a taxi back seems your best bet, but I doubt the taxi would be cheap.
