Mini clubman 1.1 bright orange CPF 376T. Kept the local mechanic in a job for 3 years, welding and replacing subframes.

Loved that car, fondest memory of driving from Surrey to Cornwall for 2 weeks surfing and drinking. B)

Sad ending though, lent to my uncle in Manchester whilst away at uni, some scum bag nicked it and burnt her out, heart broken :(

My first car was a red Vauxhall Chevette Saloon Y reg, great car and managed to survive, and my Mum had it, No2 F reg ford Fiesta festival only 2 years old at the time and a beautifull little car but being 903cc very slow, now my cars start to get better a MK1 Rover 800 ex BT car all leathered up H658GLA, at the same time my first Montego on an A plate for work transport, then a Series 3 Jaguar Soveriegn B744BBD (great for a 19 year old) that was wrote of by a dozy bint in a 405, then another Soveriegn C140UVT, this was used alongside my second Montego C324URY or Curry as I called it, then another Monty a D plate also full leather, the Jag was then parked up as I had met the wife and the Jaguar was to dear to run whilst entertaining my new girlfriend, so I brought a K plate Rover Sterling 2 litre Saloon K866YOG this was an EX Cadburys directors car and had been chaufere driven, which I still have and use daily nearly twelve years later. Inbetween lots of other cars have passed through my hands and been registered to me but not used, 3 Rover 45's A Rover SD1 V8, Mk4 Cortina with only 40,000 on the clock, A citroen BX, a Rover 100, another Chevette and a ford probe. I think there may be more but I cant remember, also Im only 36 so I think Ive done rather well with cars.

My first car was a 2002 Volvo S40 T4 (had been played with by previous owner to about 300 BHP, never forget the ammount of chavs i dusted in there subarus :good:), i remember the car well but i remember my insurance premium more :good:

My first car was a Allaggro 1300, mustard yellow, square steering wheel, broken rear quarter light, but 100 quid with a years MOT! It had moved a skip with its near side wing and also hit a speed bump so hard that the sump cracked...before I didn't top the oil (that ran out almost as fast as it went in) in time and seized it, for all I know it's still parked in a Deptford side street!

My favorite though was a Volvo V70-R, dark blue V-70 on magnesnium alloys with a subtle window tint, uprated suspension and brakes, awd...oh, and chipped along with an uprated turbo!!! :D

Absolute stealth wagon! Never had the boy racer crew trying it on, and was never pulled by the law, but when you wanted to hustle it would smoke anything! Second gear and plant it and it just bit, chucked you back into the seat and then fu**ed off!!! It outdragged Sierra Cosworths, Porsches, and my favourite was the Maserati Spyder (although I think I caught him off guard  )

God, I wish I still had that car!

First car a black 1956 Morris Minor with a 850cc engine and a split windscreen. I was 17 and work paid for my driving lessons.

Passed my test on a friday morning and went over the pennines to Liverpool and through the Mersey tunnel to Rockferry. Later that night after a few shandys in Birkenhead I ended up on a railway line!

Did your Mondeo V6 blow it's head gaskets?? - I had a 1998 Ghia x - it was a major fault - well water pump was then engine got hot.

dave

Paid £100 for it with suspected gasket failure. Took out water pump and found it had disintigrated so purchased an upgraded all metal one and the car was trouble free for 2 years so I gave it to my Brother in law free of charge and he drove it into the ground over the following 2 years and screwed the nuts off it like an idiot. Never even gave it an oil change. I am sure it would still be here today if he had taken the time to service it.

I also gave them my Mazda 323 which he SOLD so thats the last.car they get from me.

1974 MK1 Escort 1100. Bright orange with a vinyl roof. Had Rostyle wheels which is why I bought it for £25. Terrible hunk of scrap that you could get into and start with a lolly stick

Second car was a MK2 Escort that I set fire to and destroyed, welding the holes in floor

Another MK2 Escort

1980 BMW 320

1988 XR31

1989 Orion injection Ghia (Automotive drivel)

1988 Granada Scorpio 2.9

1989 Ford P100 Pick-up

1992 Ford Sierra 2.0GLSi (More Auotomotive drivel)

1990 BMW 530 sport

1990 BMW 525

1991 Merecedes E300 (smoother than a Chard chat-up line)

1995 Land Rover Discovery 300TDi

1996 Mercedes E280

1994 Vauxhall Senator 3.0 24v

1996 BMW 520

1996 BMW 528

2000 Mercedes C220 CDI (Don't know why)

54 plate Mercedes 220 CDI (My first ever new car. Still don't know why)

1999 Range Rover P38 4.6 Vogue (Jeez it was thirsty but it had a playstation and Screens in the Headrests :good: )

53 plate Landrover Discovery TD5 XS

1960 Riley 1.5ltr TC. Real walnut fascia and trim and real leather upholstery. Went like .... off a shovel and was a real quality car when new. Built like a tank by comparison to today`s tinfoil cars.

Cost me £60 in 1974 with 60,000 miles on the clock. Simple to work on and fun to drive. Sadly, the rust got to the front bulkhead and repair was uneconomical otherwise I`d still be driving it now.
