Mentalmac
Hey were a big influence on most kids going through school in the 90's... They bridged a gap between alternative and pop with a plethora of tracks including collaborations with Jay-z (Numb Encore, and 99 Problems). Lyrically they said what a lot of teens were thinking back then. RIP Chester.

arjimlad
My teenage sons are very affected by this as they really liked the band. Makes them depressed in turn and curious about suicide.
sportsbob
My youngest son (28) was at a concert of there's only a couple of weeks ago, he said it was brilliant. Both myself and my wife like there music so if people aged 20 something to 50 something like them they (he) must have been good. RIP Chester. Browning 425 clay hunter
He was a very talented musician who appealed to a broad spectrum of people which spanned many generations which is unusual in this day and age. One of my favourites was his cover of Adele 'rolling in the deep' he performed live at a gig. Unbelievable voice and talent. So sad he's gone so young and left 2 wives and 6 kids behind. I'm not a music person really, I like some stuff but rarely know who sings what and only have a few cds in the car, couple of there songs back in the charts today, numb encore came on on my way to work, simply brilliant song that got cranked right up, I can watch Miami vice just for the song track, and think I will this week.
