Oh yes, one person called me a lazy racist (lady's parts) just because i voted conservative, and there are many more spouting lots of hate and threats on there today.

I've always been mystified by the vitriolic hatred toward the Conservatives displayed by many Labour voters and sometimes even their MPs. I can understand there are always differing points of view but why abuse someone for simply having a different belief system. Ideology, especially left wing ideology, can be so utterly toxic that even though I'm not a particularly rampant tory, I'm delighted that JC and his merry band of crackpots have been well and truly buried.

Now that's what I call Corbyn Neutral.

Quite right. I have always found it deeply ironic that they call the Tories 'the nasty party' - that's a laugh.

It is that bad for many and they have a right to be horrified. Just because it's fine for you, doesn't mean it's fine for everyone. Austerity has hit the poorest the hardest and for many, they're entirely blameless for their position.

Just voted and for the first time, there was a queue of people waiting to cast their ballot - and it's hosing it down outside! Poor dog showing though, just the one friendly collie -x-plenty outside in the rain.

I say again many of these so called 'poorest' are fatter than bacon pigs and have a multitude of tattoos costing hundreds if not four figures AND they always seem to have a fag on.

There was some Labour female (didn't get name) on the radio today claiming that they lost mainly because the offered a mild social democratic manifesto rather than a radical socialist programme which is what their core voters really wanted.

They are truly deluded.

That’s because they can insult you without any fear of repercussion!.......Years ago if anyone was stupid enough to insult and verbally attack someone for their beliefs/opinions, they risked consequences!....not now! You just have to accept it.......or if you don’t? It’s you that suffers the consequences!

Well you couldn't have been much more wrong. Thankfully!

If the Cons had stood aside in a few seats Labour might well have lost a couple more seats. But hey ho the nightmare before Christmas is avoided.

Believe me, I don’t mind being wrong! Great relief.

My OH has voted Labour all her life and voted to remain in the referendum. She told me this morning that she again voted labour last night but said it was a touch and go moment. She also said this morning that she was pleased the Conservatives won because she believes that we should have honoured the referendum vote.
I ended up voting Tory because I discovered at the polling station there was no Brexit representation. No loss. I too was torn but felt committed to Brexit, and was quite happy to vote Tory.

Is it? Don't get me wrong I am with the sentiment just thinking how you do it, that makes it worthwhile and meaningful, without adding disproportionately to the budget.

Respectfully, when has anyone with access to spending the public purse given a fig about adding to the burden?
