oowee
Your artwork is stunning, a recreation of real objects that somehow convey not only the image but also the life that the objects once had. A true talent.

Mungler
Amazing stuff. I always said you could lock me up in an art school for 10 years and I still wouldn’t be able to knock out anything like that because it’s just not in me.

I haven’t done portraits for many a year as it would mean a change of medium as acrylics aren’t really suited to portraits. I do paint landscapes, mostly local scenes, which sell well, and trees sell especially well. Edited July 18, 2021 by Scully No picture! I have work in the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle, Torrance Gallery in Edinburgh, Courtyard Gallery in Appleby, Lake Artists Society in Rheged in September, and various pop ups and fairs, exhibitions all over really. The annual Borders Art Fair in Kelso is a favourite also. Thanks for taking an interes, am chuffed you like them. 🙂

oldypigeonpopper
Hello, as I have said before we have some very talented members on PW, as for Dads I could never get on with mine, maybe it was his hard upbringing, our house was like the TV drama, a family at war, but memories return when I hear the song, The Living Years, great work Scully 👍
Scully
Again, many thanks all, and yes OPP, it was a while before I could listen to the Living Years, and even now I can get quite melancholic listening to it. A mate says he sometimes still finds it hard to listen to, and it must be 25 years since his Dad died.
