Here we go, I'm not as good as @Big Al but I am getting there piece by piece editing and putting the video footage together.

This is part 1 of a little day out with my mate on some walked up rabbits over the dogs. I shot over young Arnie, he has been out rough shooting maybe twice last year, but did a lot of beating. He is still very green, but is coming along nicely :)

Love it, not much gets past those boys. cheers

Yes not much got away, not hoardes about but enough to have a good run out :) The one that Arnie caught and retrieved in the cover without the flush we think was one that was shot at earlier but we thought had gone on unhit ... turned out it was hit and had run on and laid up, was a nice retrieve for the young dog.

Nice video, cant beat flushing rabbits with a spaniel, as you say he's a bit green at the minute, hunting with his eyes, he's not learnt the power of the gun yet but he looks like he will make a cracking hunting dog, nice looking dog too, thanks for posting. :good:

Started my shotgunning career like that. Two farm jack russels, that only listened when they felt like. Their docked tails spoke volumes, when they sensed a rabbit their tails would tell you.

Hedgerows, blackberry bushes and gorse held no fear for them, any rabbit they shifted.

Wish I had energy like those spaniels.
