TOPGUN749
Fill your vehicles up by Wednesday, it’s going to be 50p on a gallon or more I reckon! Taxes on savings will increase by stealth, freezing the £12570 threshold for years to come. Everyone gets poorer, not least 90% of pensioners. bruno22rf
£240 million to get people back to work is a pee in the ocean, we already spend that a month on housing illegals. The man is a buffoon.

Mice!
So when the Gov shaft everyone, how long before the vote of no confidence kicks in? Can anything be done. They were talking on the radio this morning about the tax relief on inheritance being taken away and saying it will kill farming??
Flashman
Where are all the forum’s Labour fans? It’s disappointing they’re not on here to explain why this is the best government ever, how it’s all the Tories’ fault and that we’ve never had it so good. I await my re-education with bated breath. JohnfromUK
Those who were saying "how well Labour had started out and how good it was all looking and being welcomed by business for growth" might care to look at one of the papers maion headings today; It's our worst NIGHTMARE: Business braced for 'perfect storm' in Halloween Budget The Institute of Directors described the triple-whammy as a ‘perfect storm’ while the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) said the higher costs facing business could cost jobs. Former CBI president Lord Bilimoria, the founder and chairman of Cobra Beer, accused the Government of abandoning its pledge to put economic growth at the heart of its plans. oowee
Looking forward (🤞) to hearing the plans and hoping our public services get back on track. I recon 10P a litre on fuel, chop top rate of tax relief on pension subs for high earners, hold tax free allowance (may be a below inflation rise on lower level), increase tax on stock trades, top rate of stamp duty increased. Clearly something on capital gains and NI.

Labour left the country in tatters in 2010 after their 13 year rule, the only difference is they left us with 10 million more mouths to feed.
