Agree with that, Trump the entrepreneur ? Inherited a fortune blatantly used bankruptcy several times to thwart creditors, is he to be trusted, doubtful, will he put America first, yes, will he feather his own nest, absolutely..😁

Last time round he didn't take the POTUS wage. Hardly nest feathering. He's akin to Croesus, anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if he found other ways of feathering. As an aside why old people feel the need for amassing huge wealth when they have more than they could ever need escapes me

Could be simply to deprive others?

😁 Indeed, Trump has a few years on me, yet I find myself thinking of ways to simplifying my life.

Taking your point, sadly, I have found that for some reason some others seem to delight in making life difficult?

Like him or loath him,3 days into the job and he`s started doing what he said he would !!!!!

We need someone similar in this country......

Exactly  , and what's. The first. Thing ,this. New government  did.  Take. Our OAP heating allowance,  next. Hit the farmers. Punishing  what they belive are Tory voters. . A very narrow minded. Government. Yet he Stamer stands up in Parliament  brags. On his vast majority  , but I bet. He would not date. Call another. Election  for he knows he would loose  big. Time.

It seems that Trump thinks Starmer is doing a "good job".

I never had much faith in Trump's judgement .......... and now I have none if thats what he really thinks - he must be as senile as Biden.

He is just showing respect to the office of the UK Prime Minister when asked in public.

Something Starmer and many others in the UK did not do for the USA office of President.

If you think this is so . Ask yourself  this why was Stamer not invited. To Trumps big day last week ?

Ive never been a fan of Trump, I don't like the way he speaks, he appears arrogant, boastful and at times disrespectful and always considered him a bit of a narcissist.

All that said, I can't deny my negative opinions of him have shifted, while I still find the language he uses to be at best un-diplomatic, there have been several events that have led me to believe, nobody can question his determination, belief in his own set of principles and ability to lead and get things done.

He's just secured a cease fire between Israel and Palestine before even taking office, beaten an obvious attempt at politically motivated lawfair, won a second term in office, despite clear media bias, was the first American leader to visit North Korea, is clearly respected by strong man dictators around the world, and crucially for me, although less of a measureble achievement, showed great courage during a very nearly successful assassination attempt, which stood out for me, as his bravery in the face of near death is not something someone can fain, I felt it was a glimpse at his inner self that couldn't be faked. I believe most world leaders would have understandably cowered behind their security.

He is the leader of the largest, most powerful Army that has ever existed.  Of course he is arrogant.  Trump doesn’t negotiate with his enemies, he tells them what he expects them to do.

No British Prime Minister has ever attended (or I believe been invited) a Presidential Inauguration.

Yeah but they are Chinese soldiers.

Yes and they will do exactly what they are told without thinking which makes them more dangerous. After the utterly pointless wars or Iraq and Afghanistan, I can't imagine servicemen of either the US or the UK would be willing to give up their lives so freely.

I took these pictures of the day Trump left office in 2020 and again yesterday.  This is what Biden did to us. Same store in the same town, 4 years apart.  This last four years has been a wild ride.  $22.58 with Biden took office and $40.40 this morning.  IMG_0663.jpeg.248a5484d3a39295e1252bef09f4be84.jpeg

That is still cheaper than here in the UK. Mainly because our meat is expensive. The milk, bread and eggs are cheaper here.

He hates Starmer like the rest of us and is probably just biding his time before he stitches him up big time.

I don't disagree with you all though sometimes diplomacy gets better results.

Trump has offered a hand of friendship to the UK and our so called leaders have stuck two fingers up at him, which is not only stupid, but does not speak for UK citizens. I believe Trump is well liked by many here and his actions viewed with envy compared to our useless ruling party.
