  1. That looks a fair breakfast pal. Your attention to detail needs applauding. Well done
  2. Crows are the wiser of them all I find. Best is when they are feeding the nests March/April I find and also use 32gram x 5s like yourself
  3. Chicken holding near Preston unsure about there seems to be a good few geese about this year, my house is under a flightline as an example and it's busy am/pm
  4. I never tried working out the whys/wherefores but few years ago I had my first pop with a cheddite clay cart; but the half box I used prior were fine. . . . I binned the rest of the box
  5. I don't use FB but your pc/mobile is stuck ( in non technical terms ) the easiest solve will be to turn off completely ( not just put to sleep ) if you know how to restart even more better
  6. My advice would be to stick with AF they are good for unusual terms of insurance which is what your after. All premiums are up because there is new legislation that cuts out/puts pressure on price comparison sites
  7. That special gold they store is Switzerland seems to be worth a few quid an ounce
  8. Been down this road myself and never found gloves that kept my fingers dry and warm ( which seems to be the trick ) SO Was chatting to a well retired gamekeeper who has the added extra bonus of gout in his fingers 2seassons ago on a very cold day and he was on his quad with no gloves but as we started talking he had 1 hand in his pocket and then swapped a hand warmer to the other pocket and said these are the only thing that works for him and sure enough I went out, bought one and had no further issues. Yes when your hands are naked they get wet and cold but your pockets are toasty and when you hold the heater your hands dry and warm up nice and quick. There may be gloves out there that work for others but have always found any glove for shooting/fishing a hinderance so they are perfect for me ( the gamekeeper also told me he had tried other makes and non were *** good as hotrox. HotRox Double Sided Electronic Hand Warmer with Power Bank | Lakeland Good luck and suppose everyone's needs are different
  9. Running costs of the LC are salty and with climate change it's only going to rise but they are a fantastic bit of kit
  10. I usually win a £25 prize bi-monthly ( how that works is beyond me ) but have never won anything larger for about 20 years and back then was only £500 but maybe one day!

    MacAfee

It is traceable but very few people are prepared to pay to stop it because the general consensus is why pay when a similar service is available for free. If you do have a paid email account then it's simple enough to get it sorted, if you have a free one ( gmail, yahoo etc etc ) then your going to have to do the work. If you have a free account *** millions do, then start by a Google search something like: Samsung S10 gmail spam It may take you a little while and playing about but if you can shoot pigeons successfully then you will be able to stop or certainly limit the spam your getting; good luck
  12. I would ask Jonty he pointed me in the right direction to cure bacon
  13. Fire Angel as above are 5star mate
  14. Some interesting comments and the common theme. . . . . . shooting experience / fieldcraft wins over cartridge choice because when most of us started there wasn't much choice so we had to pick the correct bird to shoot at and know when to pull the trigger never mind having to adjust ourselves because the gun didn't even fit ( I used my granddads ( I'm 6' and he was only 5' and a little bit )
  15. Rang my local chemist yesterday and got both flu jab and booster for 28th Nov
  16. I see odd things more and more ( must be getting older ) but when the air turns red it's time for a white owl cigar and a stiff drink mate! On a more serious note, the reason I opted for my kit for bleeding rather than a tourniquet was I had the dog lead with me which may not be a CAT but I recon it would work to some degree for most serious bleeds but obviously not in the deep end if you get what I mean
  17. I don't carry a tourniquet but carry on me NSAID's, mars bar, a dog lead, knife, shooting stick and a mobile with the what3words app on it ( essential for anywhere that doesn't have a postcode and house number) when either in the field, fishing or simply walking the dogs. In the my van I have for bleeding: A packet of blood clot granules, a bog roll, cohesive tape and a disposable medical stapler. All of which are cheap to buy and have I must say As above a hat, gloves, breeks, underpants or whatever is to hand works until you get to the car and mountain rescue arrives
  18. As long as they sign to say death/injury is a risk of becoming a member then you have observed the risk and alerted members to it, you could absolutely mention every aspect of shooting is dangerous/life threatening because the snowflakes may need this kind of guidance similar to playing conkers in the school playground but that's what you signed up for. . . . . . carry the can when it goes pear shaped PS. Don't shoot the postman but you did ask
  19. If sale falls through please put me on the reserve team
  20. I'll borrow a ferret as long as I get one of your butties
  21. I agree 100% sir and it astounds me when I hear that dogs are trained at 12mths
  22. 7's and 6's are both perfect but I would dubious about the 'I've been offered bit' If they are free they are more than perfect If 1/2 price then yes they are very close to perfect If priced between 1/2 and full RRP then question where have they been stored and why they are getting sold off as they could be knackered I would agree, as I've used like you an array of carts depending on the weather and where I'm shooting them
