A grey mini van,ex police car. Then moved onto a Vauxhall chavette which I covered the inside in brown fur but used a very strong glue.Me and my mate couldn't wait for it to dry and ended up in a hedge (after the road turned pink and the sky candy floss)

my first car was a mk1 escort mexico, proper avo one too. reg MAC254L paid £300 for it spent about £1200 on it, had it on the road about 6 weeks then rolled it and wrote it off racing a mk1 astra gte. ********!

If you still had it that would be one tidy pension pot.

My mum and I bought an old 2.3 auto ford cortina for the vast sum of £99 in 1987, I was just 17 and would take the car out on fishing/ferreting days.

No license, insurance..probably not taxed .

My first legal car was a Opel kadate coupe 1.3

Sprayed it cardinal red with a white stripe over the front and roof 😂...

Water pump went and I couldn't get spares

Ford Popular.

1953 model I believe.

Flag indicators,Can still hear them Dropping, lol.

Got me about though..

Ford Popular in black (all cars seem to be black back then) for me too. 3 gears, flag indicators as above.

Next was an Isetta bubble car, single cylinder BMW engine. Bought for £18. Worth a fortune now.Only wished I'd kept it.

Not exactly a bird puller but the bench seat came in handy !!

Then a Mini Traveller with wooden framing. Great little car, bought for £65.

Lost count of all the other unremarkable cars since.
