bluesj
I think that line up could make a good car based program but it won't be topgear
Twistedsanity
Glenister is a tit, Martin would be watchable if he read a dictionary and aquired some new words, but I would watch it just to perv over Jodie Edited May 5, 2015 by Twistedsanity

ordnance
You would need subtitles with Martin.
figgy
Bring back a new Michelle Newman. Jodie Kidd us a petrol head but if her eyes were further apart they'd be good wing mirrors.
ordnance
The winning formula was three blokes, seems strange to me that they would bring a woman into the program.

walshie
I hope one of them's gay and one is black and I just haven't noticed or I shall be complaining to the Beeb about not being diverse enough.
FalconFN
Man alive, you lot are hard to please - yet you were happy with a fat, jaded ogre looky-likey, a dwarf and a man you weren't entirely sure was still breathing. It was well past its best and needed a massive overhaul anyway.

Scully
Kidd, Glenister and Martin apparently Really? Have had a search but can't find any reference to this, only that the BBC are still looking for presenters to replace the three just gone. Do you have a link? digger
Thanks danger mouse. I have more chance of winning the Ashes single handed than I have of posting a link.

Scully
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/11580679/BBC-has-chosen-dream-team-of-Top-Gear-presenters-to-replace-Jeremy-Clarkson.html There you go. Far from definite though. Many thanks. I like all three of them and recently watched Glenister on a car restoration programme where his mate restored a DBS. I certainly think he could be a good presenter and is passionate about cars, but who among them is the writer? Clarkson is first and foremost a journalist, and to a lesser extent, so is May. Clarkson wrote the show each week with input from May and Hammond, and then Wilman produced it. It was Clarksons writing and Wilmans production which turned it from a flop into the best selling prog' it was. A HUGE act to follow. I think the three proposed could gel quite nicely, with scope for some potentially great bike scenes with Martin involved, and so long as they don't try to compete with the show as it was and try something new it could do quite well. It will be interesting to see how things pan out. Good choices in my opinion. Edited May 5, 2015 by Scully
FalconFN
It will probably written american style using a team of writers, but as you say it will be an uphill struggle to make a program that is as popular.
