Stair case looks stunning

Mostly my dads work and my lads on them but they’ll look better when finished.

Love the windows with the haunches on. Used to see them on all building sites, built into the walls while still wearing the pink primer.

Shame more windows are not wooden anymore.

Over the last few jobs we have found the originals were pink primer. These were fitted like a sash window behind the front courses of bricks so the horns were left on.

Ive heard a lot of councils are being forced into using wood as it’s environmentally friendly compared to plastic. We currently supply a local council in Birmingham with up to 500 doors a year in frames.

I think some do. The gate job has been messaging me a fair bit for pictures on the build as he’s that excited. It’s nice really.

I like driving do the road saying I built that :)

in one village locally I’ve built

oak window on a house

the above on another house

gates

idigbo windows

oak front door

more oak windows

the village is only 80 houses so it’s kind of cool 😎

All excellent work.

If you were nearer to me, I’d be ordering some oak windows and an oak door.

I had a local company make me an oak stable door and frame recently. They made an excellent job of it, but it would be nice to give the business to a fellow PW’er.

By the way, the guy who I used makes custom made gun drawers for 4x4’s. Have you ever made any, or even thought about making them as a side line?

I’ve made some but to be fair it’s really not cheap after you buy the good runners. It’s the load rating .

Its nice to hear your using a local company :)
