Conor O'Gorman
Wild Justice has been ordered to pay £10,000 legal costs to Natural Resources Wales (NRW) following their loss in the High Court earlier this month. The legal costs were claimed by the lawyers representing NRW following Judge Jarman QC dismissing all three claims brought by Wild Justice on the legality of NRW’s general licences. greylag
Let's hope that the cost of their legal team plus the ten thousand will come to a tidy amount. If it was coming out of the terrible trio's pockets they would think twice about bringing these attacks on the shooting and conservation bodies. They will still carry on conning their followers into forking out their hard earned cash ,that's the third case they have lost now, must be getting expensive. This - some of their followers are 'fanatics' who are not going to 'give up' and no doubt some will have deep pockets.
greylag
As long as they keep losing I don't care how deep their pockets are.
sam triple
No doubt they’ll start crowd funding to cover the costs , if they stumped up half the money out of their own pockets to bring these actions to court then maybe just maybe they may have a little more credibility

old'un
I see Avery, Tingay and Peckham have started a petition to get the culling of Badgers stopped, obviously cheaper than a court challenge….https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/333693

JDog
I am quite sure that the legal fees of NRW will have amounted to much more than £10,000. However it is a step in the right direction.

Most likely had a sympathetic mole or were tipped off? Supporters everywhere? I heard costs are capped roe this type of action? If true maybe the winners should investigate a private prosecution to make up the difference? Edited January 28, 2021 by old man

Culling Will still be allowed under licence in areas where there is evidence of a problem. NB
captainhastings
How thick are these people to hire some one like an anti to look after animal welfare. Like sticking a vegetarian in charge of a turkey farm. There biases are going to sway every decision. Some woman on facebook once during an ecollar augment stated she was the lady asked to a paper on the pros and cons of ecollars for the goverment. Yet she was dead against them so what the hell was the point of that
