ready for a painless entry back into the EU no doubt

Henry and OOWEE will be throwing a party then. They think that there is pain now (BREXIT) - it will be nothing compared to rejoining the EU, taking on the EURO as our Currency etc.....

think stubbed toe against having your spine removed with no anaesthesia!!!

As you say, "an interesting video".

I am unable with my limited knowledge to disprove anything he says and would very much like to hear from anyone who can agree or disprove his statements, especially any current or past Home Secretary.

No one in authority says or is doing anything positive to end this problem only that we need to speed up the process.

I am tending to agree that those in power do not want it to end and they certainly do not want to leave the ECHR which I think would be harder than Brexit to achieve but is in the most part necessary.

We have had multiple 'deals' with the French, on how to curtail the migrant flow, it usually involves hundreds of millions of pounds, and much French laughter.

Deja vu ?

https://www.reuters.com/world/britain-france-sign-migrant-deal-monday-2022-11-14/

Another 75+ million to fund French efforts to stop migrant boats leaving.
They know full well its not going to work , because the French dont want it to work.
Its simple , if they dont get to the UK , they arent just going to traipse back home are they
They will either stay in France , undocumented , robbing , raping and generally making the place look untidy, or , worst case scenario, claim asylum in France ! Then the French will have to pay for them, house them , and put up with them robbing and raping still.
If the boot was on the other foot , I would expect we would do the same thing, and ship them to France.
The only mystery to me , is why they arent transiting the UK to Ireland , where the social security system is even better , and they get free access to the whole of the EU ?
I might start a trend, then Ireland can pay US to stop them coming over in dinghies, and we can pretend to stop them ?

If you fancy a laugh , have a read of this .

'I interviewed an Iranian family – mum, dad and teenage daughter – who arrived on a small boat in June 2022 so are in line for forced removal to Rwanda. They appeared calm until I asked if they had received a notice of intent letter about being moved to Rwanda. As suddenly as the flicking on of a light switch, the teenage girl started screaming and crying hysterically because she heard the word Rwanda.'

If this family were so fearful of being sent to Rwanda, then why did they come to the UK ?
Why not claim asylum in France, when they knew full well the possibility of being sent to Rwanda was a (remote) possibility ?
How strange....

What gets me is all these supposedly enlightened individuals who know so much better than the rest of us and the struggles these poor economic migrants face and yet they don't seem to give two hoots about the cancer suffer who dies, the poor girls raped, the concert goers blown to bits, the inflated house prices our young now pay, the victims of crime the police are too busy to attend to, the overcrowded class rooms ect, ect, ect all in part due to floods of migrants.

And I'm pretty certain that next to none of them, have offered to support and house any of these 'boat people'. They expect the tax payer to foot the bill.

The tax payer, I.e you and me.

Im all for controlled migration and all for helping genuine refugees like those from Ukraine, but the vast majority entering are economic migrants and if woke individuals want to have them allowed entry to the UK they should house and pay for them themselves and not expect the rest of us to pay for them

It might well be , Ive no idea, and seeing as its not been ' applied to anyone yet , the question is moot.
I just this line was funny...Like shed been coached ?

'As suddenly as the flicking on of a light switch, the teenage girl started screaming and crying hysterically because she heard the word Rwanda.'

Which makes it all the more odd , if families dont qualify for the Rwandan trip ?

OK, let's call you and 12 to order. Have either of you freely spent your time with young people from this country who are struggling with a variety of issues? People with substances abuse issues? Debt? Issues around IT poverty? Do either of you work with people who have recently left jail and are desperately trying not to end up back there? Mental ill health?

Pretty sure noobie? 12?
