rimfire4969
Very sad news, he has gone far to young. An inspiration for many young people to pick up the rugby ball, a truly great player who at times was unstoppable.

Les*1066
I remember seeing Jona at the World Cup in South Africa in 1995. He was unstoppable, and by far the most exciting thing to happen to rugby before and since. A giant of the game in every way. RIP Jonah - you will be sadly missed. Guest stevo
Forget how good he was within the sport .... He was a gentleman on and off the pitch . A sad sad day imho .
AVB
Very sad and although he had health issues it was unexpected. I had the 'pleasure' of playing against him (1998 I think). I came out of it worse than he did. NZ have lost two giants in a short space of time. Jonah and Jerry Collins. RIP

Scully
I recall when I first saw him appear on an International, and thinking at the time, 'He'd still come down if someone got down low enough, but I wouldn't like to be the person whose job it was to do it'. Sad day; far too young.
