four-wheel-drive
One has to think that they are looking for ways to use some of there old bombs and rockets as they are getting so old according to the Russions lots of the Tomahalk missiles did not hit there target from what I have seen on TV for 60 missiles sent off there was not much damage. digger
It cost $314 million to make that bomb. Some one has their priorities wrong.
Dougy
It cost $314 million to make that bomb. Some one has their priorities wrong. And ? And what has the cost been to the world from terrorist attacks.
Harry136
That is not the cost for a single weapon, that's what the development program cost. How else do you suggest you get rid of maybe 40+ entrenched combatants in a deep tunnel and cave system whilst trying to avoid casualties on your own team and that of civilians? phaedra1106
It cost $314 million to make that bomb. Some one has their priorities wrong. Quite right, should get into reloading, they could save a fortune Now then, 11 Tonnes of no.5 shot, about 1/2 Tonne of Vectan A1, must be a lot cheaper surely? figgy
Hope they drop a load more and wipe the terrorists off the face of the earth.
Danger-Mouse
How else do you suggest you get rid of maybe 40+ entrenched combatants in a deep tunnel and cave system whilst trying to avoid casualties on your own team and that of civilians? Agreed. Far better to use heavy ordnance than risk soldiers lives in that kind of endeavour. Probably cheaper too, given that training a special forces soldier costs over a million dollars.
