kyska
Proper stuck. My kitchen drawer with knives and forks in is stuck by another utensil, I can open it about an inch. I've shaken it and sweared at it, for a long time. Any ideas?

pegasus bridge
Mine did this a while ago , it would open about 2", repeatedly slamming it shut dislodged the item...
Davyo
Can you not run your a bit of wire or something along the open bit.I had a spud masher stuck in ours the flat bit was butting the back of the front of the draw unit.Same thing about 1inch gap, grabbed a bit of wire out the man shed, put a bend in it and ran it across the top of the draw.Fred it eventually. Lord O War
I've had this twice now, really annoying. Do you have one of those divider things in the drawer? Ours now has 2 big holes in it where the scissors stabbed it I think i used a rule to get it so it wasn't hanging up on the carcass. No amount of jiggling was getting that ****** out. Dougy
Try one of these.
kyska
****** thing, I'm staying calm, I've eaten a baked potato and ham with random utensils from the dishwasher, I can't dislodge it. I'm going to have to break the drawer I think.
Mice!
Can you get the draw below it or above it out
Danger-Mouse
So, what was the result . . . win, lose or drawer?
Bobba
Try sliding a steel rule into the drawer to see if you can get it over the top of the offending object to hold it down before trying to open the drawer. Has worked for me in the past. Edited April 25, 2017 by Bobba
Hamster
If it's part of a double drawer then take the one next to it out and peer in to see what's blocking it otherwise just open the door below and get your arm in over the top of the utensils and push them down. Mice!
Maybe your missus has glued it shut knowing you will wreck the kitchen trying to get in?
spandit
Chain saw:-) That is dangerous and irresponsible. For someone on this very forum not to advocate blasting it open with a 12 bore is shocking
Penelope
Unscrew the draw front if you can?
Mentalmac
36g's 5 shot from about 2 foot away should sort it..... haha. I have had this same ordeal, I used the 'poke a wire into the gap and wiggle' then swear, then shake the drawer more and it worked. If you can get to underneath hit somehow, give it a slap from underneath.
walshie
I'd either swear some more, or hope the wife figures out how to open it.
activeviii
Plastic fish slice. We keep these on the worktop as it happens all to often. The wife swear she's not still buying utensils but there a bit to shiney to be in there a long while. Bit like my guns I guess so can't say much
