Put him at the top of the list for council housing of course: Terror suspects including jihadis returning from fighting in Syria are to be offered taxpayer-funded homes, counselling and help finding jobs to stop them carrying out attacks in Britain. The top-secret Government strategy, codenamed Operation Constrain, could even allow fanatics to jump to the top of council house waiting lists. Official documents seen by The Mail on Sunday reveal that up to 20,000 extremists previously investigated by MI5 will be targeted with what critics last night described as ‘bribes’ aimed at turning them away from extremism. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5027683/Council-house-bribes-UK-terror-suspects.html Meanwhile ex armed forces are sleeping rough. Bobba
How should we treat this chap? His trip to Isis should be like a man,s **** , a one way street. According to the Torygraph yesterday (page 8, can't do links) The home Office is considering pilot schemes to reintegrate jihadists and terror suspects. This could include providing social housing (rent paid) and other benefits. What an obscene idea. I agree with guzzicat. They went there, so stay there. No return. jam1e
Hand him back to isis and let them deal with him. Agree. He may even be being sent back by isis to cause terror anyhow. Considering they've had their ***** whopped lately... If he hasn't been, then a few decades in jail. It's a shame Albert P is no longer about. He'd make short work of him. Just read the link to the Daily Bull****. If that is the case, it is very depressing state, and shows how ****ed up the Government are... And as has been said, meanwhile our ex-Armed Forces sleep in doorways. Sadly predictable.... Edited October 31, 2017 by jam1e
Davyo
A true ISIS (coward) Courts in Iraq have sentenced foreign fighters to death, while those hoping to return to Western countries like the UK face prosecution. Is this what he is trying to avoid? Yeah let him back in,feed him loads of benefits, keep him on the rada. Then one day he will go out and 'BANG!'more innocent UK residents dead. DON'T let the scumbag back, let him be beheaded in a dusty street. Edited October 31, 2017 by Davyo
TriBsa
It's all totally bizarre. If they are in Sytia or Iraq we bomb them, but if they return we shower them in benefits.
Dave-G
Surely our cash strapped governments can find some empty houses for them - rent free of course plus a goodly hand out, maybe even a welcome home payment... Sha Bu Le
The Syrians caught him they can subject him to Syrian law. Harsh even barbaric as it may be. Anyone who believes in the time he was with ISIS he managed to play games and go on bike rides and generally avoid fighting in any capacity is more than a tad gullible. NO REPATRIATION not even in a box.

And without doubt, word of all the free UK "goodies" will soon travel and we'll then get the low life hear "sponsoring" non UK isis trash, who have conveniently lost or burn't their travel paper. Will just equal more terrorism. It's times like this I feel embarrassed to be British....

JohnfromUK
The problem here is that we don't have a (realistically electable) party who would do anything sensible here (like "NO ENTRY"). Present government seem to be prepared to 'welcome' them back with housing, rehabilitation, state benefits etc. Present opposition are (led by) what used to be called the 'loony left' - and have a record of being soft to terrorists - and are very keen to hand out housing, benefits etc. The LibDems barely exist and are not credibly electable - plus have always been soft on justice - they are also largely leaderless. UKIP are in effect leaderless and are not an electable force (they were always very much a 'one man band' - and the 'one man' has retired). The Greens are soft on terrorism and unelectable So there we have it - a choice of NONE if you want (as the vast majority here clearly do) these ISIS supporters excluded from the UK. But that's democracy for you. Edited October 31, 2017 by JohnfromUK
Gordon R
Why would anyone with a brain cell want to let him return? He willingly joined an organisation dedicated to killing people. His pathetic denials are just that. He is an excuse for a human being. If he isn't executed abroad, he should be permanently detained in a UK prison. Just who are these idiots speaking for when they talk of integrating them back into society? I do not know one single person who would subscribe to that. It's akin to rolling out the red carpet for Myra Hindley and Ian Brady.

Why should the taxpaying UK public (themselves apparently heading for extinction) pay for them to be kept in jail? I understand that jail is more expensive than a 5 star hotel. I have a big problem with paying large sums to keep trash in a bin. Throw it away.

Guest
We don’t want him back it was his choice to go .if Syria caught him they can keep or do what the want . They should have shot him when they caught him saves a lot of trouble and money. What’s a bullet cost lot cheaper than keeping him a live

walshie
He's the worst sort of treacherous dog. He's not loyal to either his country or his supposed cause either. It might be because he's a coward or it might be so he can be a terrorist from the comfort of his own home. Either way he's made his bed, he can lie in it. Don't let him back in, or put him in prison. I can't see another option.
