AVB
Had first post lockdown haircut yesterday. Pre lockdown £15, post lockdown £20. I wish I could put my day rate up 33% if I ever go back to work!

amateur
I had mine done yesterday. The barber's was empty - queues up the street on Saturday and Sunday - so I had a lovely quiet cut, and still £

vmaxphil
Blimey I'd rather let attila the hun cut mine rather than the Mrs 😂
Diver One
One benefit of marrying my barbers sister 40 years ago.....never paid for a haircut since! There are however many disadvantages 😂 Had two lockdown haircuts by the wife...used her horse clippers and stuff she uses when getting the donkey ready for "showing" needs a proper one now as I look like the @ditchmanavatar. But I'll let brother in law clear his backlog first

grrclark
I wish I had the hair that I had to spring out a few bob for a haircut. Depressingly a no1 buzzcut all over is as much as i can aspire to.

Quick rub down with a chamois afterwards and I’m good to go. You know what they say about blokes with no hair don’t you? Usually something along the lines of ‘Look at that bald headed **** over there!’ 😂
Imperfection
Its a lot easier when you shave your head with a razor and cheaper!
Dave-G
I do my own wi clippers then get Mrs-G to tidy up any straggly bits I miss.
bruno22rf
Don't pay it - the price is advertised when you go in so you make the decision - personally I don't understand why prices should change, practically EVERYBODY has suffered from the pandemic, Why should Barbers think it's OK to up prices? Is it because they know that some people are desperate? In which case they are simply taking advantage - many people have less money than usual - I say avoid any Barber who hikes their prices and, in no time at al, prices should come back down.l
Dave-G
I think its fair to say their business costs have gone up a lot and they'll be having to make their profit from fewer customers - or just go bankrupt: in which case you'll have to go elsewhere anyway. I’m not a nice person, it’s just that after 4 months away I’ve just suddenly realised how important my barber is to me! 🤣

Vince Green
My OH had her hair done last week and was quite upset to find the prices had gone up a lot. As she said, she has been going there for years and felt they were just taking the micky. There are a lot of people in that position, including a lot of their customers who can't just put their prices up whenever they feel like it. Whats wrong with putting in a few more hours?.
