At the moment the idea that a failed asylum seeker could not be deported because he had a cat shows to extreme stupidity of our interpretation. No passport, China won't have them back, even if they rightly claim to be Chinese. The bus owners just put a cardboard notice in the window saying " French coast € xxxx" and set off as soon as they have got a full load. Since I was aware there have been charities raising money for famine and water aid. None of these things seem to have improved despite the money being raised and if anything for many countries the situation is getting dramatically worse.
